Does a really good job, maybe a little closer than I like. I think I whold have went with a 16mm but thats okay, I'd rather be too close than not close enough. I can read plates on cars at the corner stop sign at the house. Quality is greeat, a little hard to focus, but that bit is on me and I got it done!!

Just make sure you have a taller m12 mount so there's enough threading to keep it stable

Installed this on my Wyze Cam v2.It was a little hard to thread the new lens in correctly, eventually I got it, I'm not sure if the lens or the camera is to blame so I won't dock this review on that.Quality is nice, and it does the job - I wanted it to be able to focus on an object that is 30ft away. My motion alerts are much more accurate now. I haven't looked at any of the SD card footage yet.You'll have to focus the lens on the object that you want by screwing it in or out until the picture is sharp.4/5 stars for value for the money, I think there are some cheaper lenses available that I might try next time, the camera itself was only $30 so spending $20 on the lens seems a little silly.

Very easy to install (compared to the V2). Impressively clear image once the focus is dialed in. I bought several Outdoor cams but I don’t love their design, functionality, or that they require charging. I wish I would’ve known about this mod earlier. This lens makes the V3 the equivalent of placing a cam probably 80-100 feet away. If you need to get a closer view of something, I’d recommend this lens+V3 over the Outdoor cams any day.

Replaced the standard lens on a WYZE cam V2 with this lens. Compatible with case (extends <1/4" beyond edge of case through hole). Good image quality. Focus adjustable from up close (<6") to infinity by rotation (starts out focused close in).Had to mostly disassemble the WYZE camera in order to install lens. A tiny knife + isopropyl alcohol is sufficient to remove the 'glue' that is on the threads of the default WYZE camera lens.It would be best to disassemble the camera to the point of removing the visible / IR filter changer (this requires bending but not breaking plastic) before attempting to remove the glue.As it was, I removed the glue only to realize that much of it had dissolved into solution and plated out onto the glass filters; I had to disassemble and clean all the optics. Disassembly is straightforward (screws and plastic snaps), video can be found online. Glue removal was time intensive.

After I've had problems with seating the lens, I've asked for replacement. Result: same problems.Yes, you can seat it after ~100 attempts (seriously), but other lenses fit the same camera without problems.

High quality machining

This is a highly zoomed in picture. Installation on a wyze v2 cera was very easy. If you ever need to change wifi networks it will be a nightmare, I had to set mine up as a webcam so I could re focus the original lens so that I could reset the wifi.

Got this to read licence plates with a Wyze v3. Not bad to do if your a bit handy and patient. Zoomed in so much now and focus is perfect after spending some time adjusting. I’d highly recommend it for this purpose. I got two and will try to do the cam pan next. Pictures are from the same camera and same mounting location. Just watch a YouTube video and follow along.

I used this on a Wyze Cam v3, I was very impressed by the clarity and zoom that this lens provides! Installation was finicky but not too hard. You will need to adjust focus but it's very easy to adjust and re-adjust with the m12 thread. I will be purchasing another one for sure!
