It's very dim and difficult to see. You can only see the light if the room is dark. If it is really off, download the AOS App and you can complain there.

Q: Installation is free for 10 litres AO Smith storage water heater ?

For me it was 15lit and installation is free. Only I had paid for the inlet / outlet connecting pipes.

Q: Why hoses are not included?

It's just not included. Its the way it is.
