These rune stones are absolutely beautiful! The natural variation of the moss agate is exceptional. They were packaged very safely and came with a booklet that explains the rune meaning.

The stones are totally awesome to learn about.

Beautiful

These are small (the size of a quarter or smaller), round stones. They’re cold to the touch, so I suspect they’re real bloodstone. Some of the stones are as smooth as expected, but some are slightly rougher and duller (not like raw stones though). The engraving isn’t bad considering the stones are rounded and small, but there are small quality issues with some of the runes. The bag provided was a decent size to hold all the stones. These aren’t perfect or over the top amazing, but I like them. If you need detailed information about the runes like I do (I’m just starting to learn and this is my first set), you’ll want to purchase a separate book.

These stones were listed as 15-20 mm each. For comparison, an American dime is about 17 mm across in size, and these stones were closer to a nickel in size. Very pretty stones. They've been tumbled and polished enough to wear off the sharp edges but you can still feel the natural pits and imperfections of the stone itself. There are some smudges where the person painting the gold into the etched runes got a bit messy but it's nothing that you wouldn't expect from handmade objects. I still find it amusing they sell these as Reiki healing stones (A Japanese technique) but the runes themselves are the Elder Futhark (Norse and Germanic).

These do not look like the photo. I already initiated my return. Crappy plastic, not made of crystal. Clearly made in a large production mold. Thin, very bad quality, paint all over them, not just in the grooves of the plastic.
