If you glue the metalic part on the back case then yes ! I do that ... I glued the metalic part at the back case and everything is fine ! Cheers

I'd like to show you the correct way to charge the phone and battery case together. If you charge the battery case with the phone installed while plugged in, you need to press the power button on the back of the battery case. The phone will be charged after you press the power button. The battery case will be charged next after the phone is fully charged. If you don't press the power button while plugged in, only the battery case will be charged. In fact it's clearly stated on the product details page.
