active ingredients are for medications or consumables that treat something. However this is most likely made of glass or metal. It does not dissolve in water, like sugar, gelatin or egg dust (what is normally used for cake sparkles) does. this stuff should not be consumed! it matches very closely in the powder that is used for painting cars to give them a sparkle, which i would bet is what it is. do not eat this stuff!!
