Lp Compact Bongos With Mount

I was looking for some quality drums to replace others that were stolen from my garage several years ago. I also needed drums that enabled my need to be able to sit down while playing due to severe back problems. These along with the matching compact congas fit my needs perfectly.

I have both the 11" & 11.75" Compact Congas with the Mounting System. I use them with an older set of Matador bongos with the cam lock stand. This is a great setup with lots of tuning range. works very well mic'ed or acoustic in a small to medium setting. I was given the compact bongos as a gift. They don't have much tuning range and have weak projection. They don't save much space and weigh about the same as wood bongos. You can get Classics or Matadors for less and premium shells for nearly the same or just a little more. You can't really play these without the stand. I'd only recommend these for a kit drummer using sticks who needs the space to clear other hardware and likes them tuned tight. May sound better with different heads but I haven't tried that yet.

Great look, great feel, great sound. Very happy with my purchase. Note, this only comes with the bongos and adjustable mount. The stand was purchased separately. Also note you will need to purchase a conga stand as bongos stand necks are to narrow for the mount
