This was my first attempt in restoring this timepiece oak beam. I have been pondering for a while and dreading thiz rather tedious task at hand. Been doing a lot of background investigation as which powder works best etcThe result is better than expected to be honest. Preparing, mxing and clearing up are such a chore. I must admit that I did not enjoy this part. Application takes patience and time. For this project, it took me several days to complete due to the depth of some of the gaps and holes. Patience pays off.A good fine sanding to achieve near mirror finish is the greatest satisfaction and achievement!

Good amount of powder bagged and boxed and came with a spatula. Only need to use a little for a dark shade of black.

TBH this was a disappointing buy. A small package, so not in a box and when you open, it flies into the air, quite difficult to get out of the packet, luckily I have lots of pots with lids to put this in. Just a tad disappointed that it has no metallic sparkle or glitter as it says it does, which is the only reason I bought it. Won't be buying any other colours, as guess they'll be the same. It mixed well with other colours and on it's own with pouring medium and a touch of gloss varnish to mix it in well. Just so disappointed that it doesn't deliver for mica sparkle
