Broan Blower Wheel Part # 99020144

Our fan was so noisy. Thought it was the motor and that we would have to get a new unit (a pain since would have to install from attic), but we noticed that the wheel was broken. Slipped off the old one and put on this new one easily. Wow... so quiet now and works great. Breath of life into a super old unit.

OEM blower wheel. It is a snug fit on the motor shaft, but this is the correct part. There is a metal clip that compresses some of the plastic so that it stays secured to the motor shaft. You will have to press the wheel with a decent amount of effort to get it into the correct position. Good quality for the price. I recommend replacing both the motor and wheel at the same time for best longevity.

It is true that the part numbers match, etc. It will also go onto the motor shaft (with appropriate effort). But - the new part is not the same dimensions as the original. It is smaller. Original was 3.7" - new: 3.4" diameter. So it will work, but the efficiency of the fan will be decreased on two counts: the fan itself will move less air and the fan to shroud increased gap will allow air to move from the high pressure area back to the inlet. I wonder if this was a move to reduce material and lower manufacture costs. I'll use it, but not happy with the part.

I was replacing the motor on my Broan 162D and figured I'd get a new wheel too, mostly because I was too lazy to clean up the old one. The part number for this wheel didn't match what was in the manual but it works fine. It's about 1/4" in diameter smaller than the original but the important part is that it fit on the shaft of the new motor perfectly. I can't imagine that a slightly smaller overall diameter is going to affect much.

Nothing to dislike. It was a perfect fit. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Good job.

Overall good quality product. The dimension is correct. The only problem is that the depth of the cup lid is too thick / not enough curve, which causes the cup to be sticking out when putting everything back into the metal housing. I had to improvise by flipping the cup inside out to make it work. It's less efficient, but it does the job.

Saved me $100. Our recently purchased older home doesn’t have one fan that isn’t on the verge of dying. This fan fixed one bathroom fan. Thankful. It works. Super easy cheap fix.

This was a very tight fit and a bit tricky to install to the right height in the motor shaft, but it's made from good strong material and once installed runs very quietly.

The fan was easy to install and quiet in the bathroom.

I looked up this part to fix a bathroom fan/heat lamp combo and it fit perfectly. I replaced the fan cage and didn't have to replace the whole fan or damage the ceiling in the bathroom.
