Tonic Portion Control Plate

I bought my plate back in 2018 after being in the Hospital and was informed by my doctors that I should get my love wee wife to eat the same small portion as I do now for health reasons. There are many different types of Bariatric plates on Amazon so I asked my nurse at the hospital and she recommended this plate as it gives you more information and portion sizes which does help to lose weight by cutting back on what goes into your mouth. Your health should always come first before everything else in your life and I chose to change my way of living and to live as long as my late father into his hundreds as he changed the way he ate food and stayed away from bad food that will give you major problems later in life. The education and understanding of why so many people are living longer is because of their eating habits and what they put into their mouths we would also recommend this lovely wee plate with all the info on the plate and good value for money.

Fabulous little plate, exactly what my husband needed to manage portion sizes after weight loss surgery. This one was great as it’s a real ceramic plate not melamine like most portion control plates. Great communication from the seller and arrived promptly.

Good helpful plate for judging meal size

Really like that this plate has suggestions of food types in each of the sections. Makes you realise how large your portions were before! However, the smaller size of the plate still makes it appear as though your plate is full, so it really helps to change your perception of what a ‘weight-control sized’ portion should look like.I would have bought more than one plate, or a set of them, had it been a little cheaper to purchase. So there is room for improvement there, I think, but otherwise very happy with the purchase.Having to use the same plate for every meal, I will soon get weary of the constant washing up, and not being able to wait until I have filled the dishwasher! So, I plan to use this plate just to train with and will transfer meals to regular sized plates after measuring them out on this plate, until I get used to what a healthy portion should look like on my usual dinner plates. But if I could have bought a set of plates for less, then I would have preferred that.

Love this plate, good quality. Really keeps me on track. Love it.

Very over priced for what it is.

Expensive for such a small plate. However it does what it says on the tin and is helpful for portion control!
