I’m an aging professional and have never had a beard....but grew a big unibomber beard during the Covid lockdown. When I had to go back to work I decided to keep it, but found getting the perfect professional length impossible with my standard trimmer that just has a couple clip on guards. This trimmer is great. Has a dial that adjusts the guard in 1/2 MM increments (0-39) so you can find the perfect length for you. The massive amount of adjustments makes it easy to blend and taper/etc. this came available in two packages. I bought the more expensive set not because I needed the extra blades, but because I wanted the little plastic charging stand so it could sit on the counter next to my regular razor & toothbrush/etc. (was the extra money worth a 20cent plastic thing?? I’m glad I have it as keeps bath counters more tidy, so for me, yes. But the razor and trimming guards are the same). I’m glad I chose this one. Very happy with performance.

The Braun Beard Detail Trimmer is a versatile tool with a comfortable design and durable build. It offers precise trimming and detailing options, with a variety of attachments and length settings. The long-lasting battery is a plus for travelers. However, it's slightly more expensive and can be noisy during operation. All in all a slightly above average trimmer for a decent price.

After trying several different trimmers I was really surprised by the ease and efficiency of the Braun BT7240 trimmer. The basic trimmer is easy to use and is washable, which is a great advantage. The array of accessories is good and covers all situations. The most impressive feature is that the trimmer recharges reliably in about 1 hour, giving a full charge that easily covers even a difficult trim. The beard length control is easy and accurate. The two different heads enable trimming beards from "shadow" stubble to a full beard. The addition of a blade razor helps to finish trimmed beards as well as cleaning up under the chin. The BT7240 is good value for many and I have already recommended it to my friends.

Except and precise trimmer. Fine tune your facial hair

This replaced two devices for me - a Conair GMT900 iStubble Facial Trimmer and a Braun Series 9 Electric Razor. The battery on my iStubble was finally dying and the precision trimmer on my Braun Series 9 broke, so I was looking for something to replace both. This absolutely did it! The trimmer did a great job (set at 3.5mm beard length), the precision trimmer cleaned up my neck line and I used the shaver attachment on my cheeks and neck. It was all quick and easy. I was actually impressed. The plastic guard on the Braun beard trimmer is hard compared to the iStubble. The floating head on the Conair evidently softens it quite a bit. And I will miss the automatic cleaning of the Braun Series 9 shaver, but it was pretty easy to clean off the Braun beard trimmer so hopefully I'm not giving up too much. My first impression of this was very positive. I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought three different beard adjustable trimmers. Just had to narrow down a few choices and hold them and try the ergonomics out. Panasonic (ER-SB40-K) was twice as expensive as this Braun, the another Panasonic was half the cost of this Braun. So, price wise it's right in the middle. Pros: -Overall it's a good size, somewhat on the smaller side, which I like. Easier to maneuver and won't easily drop out of hand. -Power is good. Nice that it works cordless or corded. -It's great looking, it unsurprisingly won style awards (German). -The adjustment dial doesn't move too easily, good detents, it stays at the length you want. -Blades are sharp and powers thru thick hair -Doesn't pull hair, like the more expensive trimmer does. -Low noise. The least noisy of the three. -Handle feels really good and solid, good surface texture, and doesn't feel cheap. -Doesn't have gimmicky lights & stuff on it. -Includes all accessories I need for beard styling and haircut. -Li-on battery charges in one hour. And it powers for an hour. Cons -This model is $20+ more expensive than Braun's model without one of the trimmer heads and a stand. That seems a bit much. But hey I wanted those things. -I wish it had a pop-up trimmer like my old skool panasonic did. I kept the Braun BT7240. I've had it a few weeks, and it's been performing great. I recommend it highly!

Item cuts great, quiet and easy to use! But after a full charge, it dies out after a day or so! So I have to constantly re-charge it! Not good if it's suppose stay charged for days on end! I kept my old wireless Wahl razor with semi-broken plastic attachments, and that unit can stay charged for month or more! This Braun is terrible at staying charged for more than a day or so! To me, that defeats the whole purpose of a wireless system if you have to keep charging it-without even using it! I'd return it if Amazon would let me! Barely use it because when I go to use it it's discharged and it takes a long time to re-charge-so I wind up using my old Wahl because it's still holding it's charge and as loud as it is, it works!! Too bad, other than that it's great!

I've been using this to trim my beard for 3 months now and I'm impressed. It's easy to adjust length, is relatively quiet and operates smoothly. Gives a nice even trim every time. Prior to this I was using a Phillips trimmer with the vacuum feature. I miss that feature as it trapped about 80% of the clippings, and I would have bought another if they still made them. But this Braun is a great replacement. The only con I'd say is that it's not super stable when on a flat surface. You have to be extra careful to set it down flat on the counter so it doesn't roll off.

How did I manage before this product came along? Leaves all others in the shade.

This is a great little shaver set. Takes great care of my full bed and it’s even manage to trim my son‘s thick curly hair. Last forever on a charge and never seems to snag or catch on has pulling them out. I can highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I received it just before our last Covid lockdown and may have spent a little too much time trimming in my spare time. :-)

Bought this on prime day for beard trimming and the occasional hair cut on my head. The trimmer has been working great. In can't really comment on the other heads as I mainly use the main one with the adjustor. The machine is extremely smooth and really well made, feels like a quality product in your hand. The battery life is extremely good. I've used it 4 times without charging, compared to my old Philip trimmer which needed charging after every use. The included stand for charging is very minimalistic and it comes with a carrying bag to hold the trimmer and it's accessories which is a huge plus for travelling. The trimmer is a little pricey but it's well worth it.
