Remote start works great but you have to purchase the flash loader to make it work and you also have to tap into some of the ecu wiring so it’s not plug and play like some of the others from this company.

I normally don't leave reviews on Amazon, but since this doesn't have many, figured I'd add one.Used this kit on my 2011 Jetta TDI DSG. Everything went super smooth installing this.You will need to buy the Fortin Flashlink 4 for this to work, without it the system wont arm and the car wont start at all.I used higher end t-tap/vampire taps to hook all but 1 wire up. The bypass that plugs in near the ignition is the only wire I fully cut, I wanted to keep everything "close to stock" in case I needed to remove anything. Having a good quality electrical tape and zip ties will help as well.Overall, it took me roughly 60-70 mins to get everything installed and programed. Not including sitting at my desk before hand and separating the non-used wires. In total, you will need to make 7 taps and 1 full cut to get this working, the rest plugs into the harnesses. The hardest part is getting under the kick panel where the BCM is at and removing the plugs.If you have a TDI make sure to edit the settings when flashing the box, that way the glow plugs will have time to warm up.If you can read the manual, watch a few videos on people installing in other cars, and can take you time, this was super easy. 10/10.
