This is more than a commitment, it's a lifestyle choice. Not for the faint hearted. If you're feeling nervous about that statement, you should leave now, no one will judge you. If you already put it on your wishlist though, no guarantee on that. Do you have the willpower? Do you have the stamina? Do you have what it takes to finish this whole container? Test your might, and make no mistake you will be tested. Fatality! To say that you get value for your money is extremely true in this case. If you are one of those people who sprinkle spirulina on everything this is the perfect purchase. ALSO you are sick and disturbed, stop that. Who are you trying to impress? But for the uninitiated, let me set the scene: Imagine, if you will, a friendly, helpful little algae, wholesome and nutritious. And let's say that algae has friends, like...A LOT of friends. If this container was a continent, it would be China. Folks, this is 2lbs of spirulina, you will be ruining your orange juice for years. It's not unpleasant per se, an acquired taste, and certainly not for every palate, but if you aren't afraid of a little alternative greenery, this could suit you nicely. It's not overpowering in it's presence, but you might want to mix it with stuff that will offset that healthy algae flavor. The scoop provided will inform you immediately just what 900 plus servings actually looks like. It's a lot. There are 365 days in a year, if you only have one serving a day...I think you are smelling what I'm stepping in. If I have piqued your interest, give it a try. Why not? What could it hurt? Fool! Now you will serve your new master! SPIRULINA! No really, it's pretty decent, but it will take you a minute to get through this container. I definitely recommend putting it into smaller containers for freshness and ease of access. It also pairs well with your choice of fiber so you might as well get some of that too.

I had no idea. I was buying such a big container, but it is so worth it. I've been using this product for over a decade and I swear it really helps. Keep me young and healthy.

Works

I have started taking this Spirulina and I am feeling so much better. I had read that taking Spirulina could help make allergy symptoms milder so I decided to take it. The first time I took it I did not like the taste but from what I had read this is was the normal with pure Spirulina. I then decided to spread the suggested dosage over many different drinks. Doing it this way the taste is much milder. I had also read that you could put the powder into capsules and my next purchase will be a capsule packing machine. :-) As far as the benefits I have received have been nothing short of amazing. During this time last summer I had to constantly take anti-histamines to even function as a person. While taking this on a regular basis, I have noticed that my allergies have been so much milder. My eyes are not as itchy and my nose doesn't drip as much but best of all is that I don't have to take as much medicine as I used to. I am hopeful that if I continue supplementing with this wonderful product, my allergies will continue to get milder. I will buy this again and would recommend it to anybody.

The color & quality are excellent. My knuckles and hands never get dirty because I have a small glass canister with a rubber gasket & clamp that I scooped some into with a ladle and I keep the little included scoop, on top of the canister. That's the only thing with green powder on it. I was never a Spirulina flavor (or smell) expert. If I ate it and burped I wouldn't do it again. Mine goes in a keto smoothie with heavy cream, plain yogurt, beet powder, alfalfa powder, cinnamon powder, psyllium powder and flax powder with Strawberry flavor water enhancer and alkaline water to thin it out. It taste like a strawberry milk shake. Ssoooo good! No trace of any other flavor. I love being healthy. Great value too.
