Global Gourmet Chocolate Fountain Mini Fondue Set with Party Serving Tray Included | Electric 3-Tier Machine with Hot Melting Pot Base | Keep Warm Function

I bought the chocolate fountain for New Year. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but it worked perfectly and the kids loved it. We used approx 500g of Cadbury chocolate buttons and 3-4 tablespoons of extra virgin Coconut oil, melted together and added to the fountain and had no problems at all. It is quite dinky, so ideal for home but not for a big party.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to on this one. I can't understand why people having giving this product low star rating! It's a great little product. It is small in size but does the job. I wasn't prepared to buy expensive chocolate, so I just bought aldi cooking milk chocolate and melted it over hot water in a bowl. Then once melted I added a 'slosh' of vegetable oil (as per someone else's review) the chocolate was running and I think that's the trick. Moved it to the fondue machine and left it running for about an hour, maybe more - chocolate stayed runny the whole time. I kept some chocolate warm on the hob and topped up the chocolate. We are a family of 7, everyone had plenty and there was chocolate left. You could make this work for a bigger party but you would need to top up the chocolate. Cleaning wise, I washed the base (attached to the motor) straight away. And used a paintbrush to get in the cracks of the cogs. I imagine this could be difficult if the chocolate left to harden, but that's why I did it when chocolate still warm and runny. The other parts were fine, just wash as you normally would.Long review, sorry. But great item!

The tray didn't sit very well round it, so didn't bother with it hence dropped a star, used 2 100g bar cheap chocolate and oil, ran well but should have used 3 bars as ran out very quickly but was a great hit for a birthday on boxing day! Used strawberry's, kiwi, grapes waffles and caramel waffers. So had more food which wouldn't have fitted in the trays anyway. Great for the money spent.

The fountain is noisy and rather tedious to clean but everyone loved dipping the food we had in it. It was a hit at the party in spite of the cons.

Chocolate would only come out of one side of the fountain. Can only really be used of a small number of people. Used for a party of 11 with the one side working and the chocolate ran out too fast. Doesn’t hold enough chocolate. Sent back due to not working correctly.

I followed the instructions and the chocolate flowed smoothly with no clumping. The kids loved dipping the fruit and marshmallows pieces under the chocolate.

This is easy to use and clean. Not too big, perfect for small get togethers. Very happy with it and would recommend

Really impressive. We had a party for 14 kids (yes it was very messy, but expected). They all loved the chocolate fountain, and we kept it fairly topped up. It definitely made a mess (more the kids than the item :).Well constructed, not overly noisy, very easy to clean (but clean it while its warm is my hint, before it becomes solid, and use very warm water. Very few parts so really easy to assemble and clean (3 parts I think). Warms up to keep it flowing and comes with instructions. It held enough chocolate for the 14 kids over 2 hours, we filled it up once after the initial top up......Make sure its warm before adding the chocolate. Great product.
