Graham-Field 1240 Grafco Snellen Eye Chart, Plastic with Non-Reflective Matte Finish, 22" x 11"

I'm a 3rd-year in optometry school. I know what letter sizes are supposed to be, and how tall in centimeters the 20/20 letters should be to subtend 1 arcmin on the retina with the patient standing at 20 ft... this chart is EXACTLY calibrated. PERFECT. I love it. I also love that they extend the lines down to 20/10, so in a short room you can stand at 10 ft and still measure 20/20 on that line. The chart is printed on durable plastic (not just some poster paper). I love the plastic. No staining, no tearing, etc. The company shipped it rolled up in a big box, so that it did not bend. I appreciate that so much. No creases. Looks brand new and amazing.

This is a very nice chart, silk screened onto a matte vinyl, making it easy to use. I bought it to check the progress of eye exercises (The See Clearly Method) I am doing to improve my eyesight. I am happy to report that I can read small print, and do my artwork without having to wear glasses. To me it is a miracle as I am almost 70 and have worn reading glasses since I was 40. I viewed various videos on YouTube to learn the See Clearly Method, then I incorporated the use of my heal-all laser light (a Q-1000 that the feds have quashed) which works to increase circulation. As I hold the light to the sides of my eyes it penetrates those small muscles that move and rotate the eyeball. Every morning I exercise my eyes for a few minutes. I am at 80 sessions now, my right eye is 100 percent and my left is like 98. I am thrilled with my new-improved eyesight, and the eye chart... Thank you!

had cataract surgery this was the best for checking eyesight. much better than relying on the visits to the eye DR. Also allows you to keep tract of the effect of different drops especially for dry eye.

I purchased 2 of these as I work for an IP video surveillance hardware company and wanted to use them to compare image quality vs. our competitors. I read another post that it comes rolled up pretty tight but if you hang it on the wall for a while it will flatten out. Well it hasn't after quite some time, and because I move them around so much I have no desire to put pins in all 4 corners and end up with walls that look like swiss cheese. Even after laying them on a table with books on top of them for a week, they still won't flatten out. Basically, only purchase them if you plan on leaving them in one place, which in reality is probably what most people want anyways, I suppose...

I purchased this because I’m going to have cataract surgery in the coming months and wanted a way to compare the results at home, as well as to have an accurate way to assess how much it’s progressing in the meantime. The chart in enclosed in plastic so it’s durable and large. I used a command clear hook to hang it on a kitchen wall where there was space to stand back 20 feet and have a clear line of sight. It works perfectly. I’ve wanted an eye chart for a long time but wasn’t sure where to buy a nice quality one. I should have known that amazon has just about every thing%!

I measured out 20 feet like they use at DMV so I know if I need to go to the eye doctor sooner rather than later. It’s a good thing to have around and good quality.
