In arm mode, the bicycle alarm makes a warning sound firstly when motion is detected (to avoid noise noise pollution), if any more motion or vibration within 2-12 seconds, the alarm will alarming for 30 seconds.

Can you use this for an moped?

It connects via wi fi, so probably wouldn't be ideal. Plus it's too bulky. Battery life is poor, and you're constantly recharging.

Does this work in a car?

The alarm is very sensitive just gently brushing past the bike sets the alarm warning off touching it again sets the full alarm, and it is loud. I guess if the car is banged or moved slightly it should activate the warning beep the only way to be sure it try it.
