Waste of money
This does brighten under your eyes but remains Cakey once you apply concealer. No benefit as an under eye concealer at all. I’ve wasted my money! It’s also got tiny bits in it. Ok once you’ve really blended but most of the pigment gets left on your fingers!

Dark in colour, powdery type consistency to apply that exaggerates lines and wrinkles
Maybe this just isn't what I was expecting but I'm not a fan of this at all. Unlike other primers I've used before (and have loved the smoothing effects) this is quite a small tube - only 10ml. The product itself is quite a dark colour - kind of orangish. For my pale skin I suspected straight away it wasn't going to look right. So anyway, having moisturised I applied this around the eyes and I was pretty horrified with the effect. It's a funny consistency - dry and kind of chalky is the best way I can think of... it doesn't go on smoothly so looks almost like a spotted effect, you can see the small blobs where it's been applied. It doesn't absorb well but worse still... because it's powdery I went into all the creases around my eyes making me look about 10 years older.I removed it straight away and tried again using a more intensive eye cream first but had the same results. Maybe this would work on very smooth skin that's darker in tone but for older women (I'm forty something) I think it's only going to exaggerate those fine lines and wrinkles. It's not something I'll use again as it's clearly not suitable for my skin tone or age.

It really works
Iv tried a few products in this range and all make noticeable difference but this is great.Unlike other products in range it doesn’t make claims of long term improvement but it does say will give temporary lift and brighten eyes. The tube you recieve is quite small but you don’t need a lot of product. When we first tried cream we were a little alarmed as came out a quite dark brown colour, like a foundation for olive skin so I wondered if we had misunderstood product and was actually concealer that was going to be too dark? But my daughter decided to try she patted product on to eye and it didn’t seem to be any colour? Almost as if the colour disappeared as she patted on.She said she felt none of usual tightening you feel with skin primer but it made a massive difference. The pictures above were done on 1 eye whilst sat on couch applied with finger with no mirror and no make up applied after and I think you can see the improvement. She then went upstairs and started on cleansed face and applied in front of mirror with sponges and applied make up after and her eyes looked great, with no need for usual concealers.Applied correctly in front of mirror and with make up on top gave even better results but I wanted to show the difference from a 2min application done blindly whilst sat end couch.I think the price is reasonable and whilst this cream may not give long lasting results I’m sure the cream will moisturise under eyes.Every make up bag should include this for the times you burn candles both ends lol don’t get good nights sleep or If age is causing skin around eyes to crease and darken.A temporary eye lift in a tube

StriVectin BlurFector for Eyes Lid & Undereye Brightening Primer
Despite trying to sleep as much as Rip Van Winkle did, I always get the dreaded dark circles under my eyes. This is a tiny 10ml tube which contains an odd orange viscous liquid. When placed over moisturizer and under my eyes it didn't make much difference - maybe it's because I wear spectacles for myopia, but that made it worse - my undereye area looked 'sparkly' which isn't the look I'm aiming for! That said, why this product gains a 2* review as opposed to a measly 1* is that it felt really nice on my eyelid and brow bone and did manage to make my eye makeup stay without cracking up or powdering.Would I recommend this product? Considering that there are a myriad of better and cheaper alternatives out there I wouldn't.

Normal Under Eye product, good for hydration.
I really like this Brand, StriVectin, they have very good quality products. But with this Undereye Brightening Primer, I was expecting more for this price. When you applied they look brightener that is one of the main reason to apply. Is soft and smooth and leave your skin hydrated. But I don't feel my eyes more awake or younger-looking after applied. The same with wrinkles they keep appears after this product and makeup. Is better for dark circles, I like to apply when I am going to be at home on the weekends after my moisturiser and my eyes look better without any dark or spots and look natural than makeup so is great for this.Another good thing is that they had been Ophthalmologist tested, great to avoid red eyes. Is a small size 10 ml bottle but you just need to apply a small amount. I suggested applying just a bit with your fingers looks better than when you applied more and let dry for a bit before you applied the makeup.I tried just without makeup and looks more natural this is good if you don't want to wear anything else on your face.

Interesting consistency
I'm still a little undecided as to whether i'm a fan of this product. The consistency is so unusual, it's not one similar to a foundation or cream but it's thicker and has a powdery, dry feel to it, even though it's technically a cream! It dries as you apply it and feels velvety almost...The actual colour is fairly dark but this seems to blend into your skin as you apply it, it disappeared into my dark circles as i applied it which I was pleasantly surprised about as I was worried it was totally the wrong colour match, it did blur my circles a little but then it tended to settle into my cracks and emphasise the lines around my eyes, if I apply more it covers the lines again but then settles into the lines over time...For me, it's good for the circles but not so much for the lines! Interesting product but didn't blue the wrinkles as well as i'd hoped.
