Lotus Rice - Jade Pearl - 15 OZ

If you want something different than your plain white or brown rice take a chance and look into this rice, this is real good yummy rice. On top of that this rice is healthier for you than white rice, it is easy to prepare and can be used in other rice dishes, if you like a change of pace from the normal rice dishes then check this rice out. I love love love this rice and I highly recommend this rice for all you rice lovers like me.

This rice is tasty and unusual...a restaurant served it and I wanted to prepare at home. Very small, delicate grain with a faint green tint. It is not whole-grain, so it cooks quickly (20 mins).Before I ordered, I contacted Sprouts, the only "creative" market in my town and was told they did not carry bamboo rice. So I paid up ($11) and ordered on Amazon. Later, I was in Sprouts and the exact same package was on the shelf for $4.99. I felt like a schmuck.

Lovely flavor and great stocking stuffer for Mom, who lives in a town that doesn't offer much variety in the grocery store. And it looks so pretty!

Very pretty to look at and is a good short grain rice that goes with many things. I like it best when I can show off its wonderful light green color.

I thought this would be the bamboo rice that I am used to that I get from Whole foods. Not. It's not bad, but not as I expected.

This rice lacked that bamboo smell. The color was also disappointing.

Delicious and easy as most other rice to prepare. Would recommend. Little pricey.

Rice is delish, however the size of the bag is a little misleading. It’s extremely small for this price point.
