Othello Classic Game from Ideal

Fun game, well made and sturdy board. We like how the updated design, (vs. the original board I played as a kid) has raised edges for each square so the pieces stay in their spots as you play. Easy yet fun strategy game to play for most ages!

The media could not be loaded. This is such an easy to learn game. Anyone can play it right away. The game itself is sturdy. Worth the price.

We used to play that game 35 years ago. I was happy I found d it on amazon.

Excellent games, hours of fun. Brings me back to when I was a kid.

I love this game and loved watching my son learn the game’s strategy too.

This is a cost-reduced version from what Ideal made years ago. The old tag line, "A minute to learn, a lifetime to master" is very true. The new version does not have the flip-around cylindrical chip covers of the older versions. It's still a great game to learn and master even though it was theoretically "solved" in 2023.

I played this game endlessly with my own children 40 years ago and am now playing it with my grandson who is 13. He's a chess player and he thought this might be too easy for him. But not so fast! It's truly a game of strategy and, like the play, the action nturns on the flip of a coin or, in this case, a playing piece. And before you know it, all is lost! I'm a fan!!
