Modway Curl Linen Fabric Upholstered Queen Headboard with Nailhead Trim and Curved Shape in Gray

I'm amazed at the quality of this headboard at such a great price PLUS free shipping! I couldn't ask for better. I researched for an upholstered king size headboard and this was by far the best price and an equal quality piece as other high end retailers. It arrived quickly and well packaged. It was super easy to install and I was able to do it alone. I'll definitely be ordering another one for my master bedroom!

I ordered this headboard because they style was what I was looking for and because it was so reasonably priced. There was a bit of a mix-up with the delivery date and although frustrating, I still got it in a reasonable amount of time.It was really easy to attach to the bed frame (I used the bed frame's bracket directions to attach it, not the directions that came with the headboard itself).My only issue is its height. I paired it with the Zinus Sleep Master Smart Base (which I love!) which was a reccomended add-on purchase with this headboard. The frame sits a foot and a half off the ground and doesn't require a box springs - which I used anyway making my bed higher. However, even with the unusual added height, the top of my mattress JUST came to the bottom of the headboard. If I'd passed on using my box springs - as suggested - there would've been a big gap between my mattress and the headboard. I'll include a picture to explain. That being said, I am glad everything worked out the way it did!

I recently remodeled our guestroom and needed a headboard for the new bed. I settled on this one because I liked how it looked and the dimensions were what I needed. For reference, the mattress is resting on a Zinus 18" Smartbase platform, and I purchased the matching headboard brackets separately.I live in a Cape Cod style home which means EVERY room upstairs has angled ceilings. I hate it because it really limits the furniture you can place against walls because there's only about 49 inches in height. So finding a headboard that would fit was important. In the end I decided that a height adjustable one was ideal, because even if a fixed height headboard met the height specs on paper, there was still a possibility it could be too tall if the posts had to be raised off the floor when attaching them to the headboard brackets.When I unboxed this headboard, everything seemed to be perfect. No damage. There are only three pieces to assemble: two posts and the headboard. Unfortunately, those three parts were the only items in the box. There were no assembly instructions and no hardware. Usually I would have just requested an exchange or contact the seller to request the missing hardware, but I was impatient and wanted to assemble it NOW. The only problem was that I had no idea what hardware I needed. Once I found out what screws I needed, I sent my husband out to get them, which were more expensive than I expected. FYI what you need are four M8 1.25 x 45 mm screws.Once I had them, assembly was extremely simple. I would not have needed the instructions had they been inside the box. You just place two screws on each side at the height you want the headboard to be. And if you're like me, and get the height wrong on the first try, it's really easy to unscrew and readjust. It attached perfectly to the Zinus frame and it is definitely sturdy.Overall the headboard is fine, but I don't think it works as well if it's adjusted too low. I don't think this is a fault with the headboard though; it's a combination of the height of the bed platform (18"), the height of my mattress (13"), and the height of the wall (49"). In hindsight I probably should have purchased a 14" platform, but I just find the 18" to be more comfortable for getting in and out of bed. In any event, because the platform is so high, and I'm unable to make the headboard any higher because of the ceiling, it creates a situation whereby the headboard chops off a few inches from the platform. In essence, it blocks the mattress from sliding under it because there's no room. So those inches of mattress end up pushed over the foot of the bed. It's not by an extreme amount, but definitely noticeable unless you have a long bedspread to hide the mattress.I was unsure of what rating to give this headboard that I thought was fair. I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the missing hardware, but the headboard itself is fine. Ultimately I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5, as my only other issue is that I think the padding could be a bit more substantial. It's a bit stiff, especially compared to the Zinus upholstered headboard I have in the master bedroom which is very similar to this. As a stomach sleeper, my hands and arms are always resting on the headboard so its comfort is important to me whereas for others it might not be. It just comes down to personal preference.

Light grey is very off from the pictures in description (top left box in picture) much more blue tinted, so it doesn't go with my bedding and I will be returning. Annoying.UPDATE: I regret ever laying eyes on this item. This has been the most dreadful upsetting experience I’ve ever had on amazon!! This giant item has been in its box taking up my whole entry way for the past 4, FOUR, months! All I wanted to do was return it. The seller refused to schedule a pickup and only accepted a return if I drop it off or pay for a pickup myself (hundreds of dollars) Please explain to me how I’m supposed to fit this enormous box in my car? I’m definitely not spending my own money to pay for a truck to come pick it up. I’ve returned many other things on amazon and they all have been with a scheduled pickup. I believe because it’s the sellers responsibility, especially when they’re me selling something under false pretenses. I’ve had to report it to amazon who has been sitting on my claim for months and being just as difficult. I JUST WANT THIS THING OUT OF MY HOUSE AND MY MONEY BACK!! Lord have mercy on my soul. Are you really going to make me go out and get a lawyer over this thing?

I got the sky grey color, and the color is almost exactly as pictured. I was hesitant to order since some of the reviews indicate that the color is darker than advertised, but mine was perfect. Very easy to assemble and install. Excellent headboard, especially for the price. Looks much more expensive than it is, and looks even better in person. Packaged well and shipped quickly.

I ordered the silver, the color is a little bit of a darker silver/gray than the picture. Overall I really love it. It was easy to install, I didn't need to connect it to the bed-frame and it is still secure against the wall. You can see it is a separate piece but once I put a night stand next to the bed you won't be able to see the frame and headboard separation. It arrived very quickly and the headboard was in perfect condition. Great product for the price.

I am so happy I bought this headboard! It came quickly, in perfect shape, and was very easy to assemble. The fabric was a beautiful colour and the studs were all lined up nicely. I get so many compliments on it!

not bad. i got a good deal on that this why i bought it. i attached it to a metal queen bed base and it was tricky. i think it was meant for bed with a frame which i didn't have. but it looks ok.

Great headboard! Was exactly the color I'd hoped, fabric is great quality. And most of all, the value. Can't believe I paid so little. I'd definitely recommend this product.
