Meike 12mm T2.2 Manual Focus Wide Angle Fixed Prime Cinema Lens for M43 Micro Four Thirds MFT Mount Cameras and Cinema Camera BMPCC

The Meike 12mm T2.2 is an excellent budget cinema lens, exceeding my expectations both optically and in terms of build quality. The lens has a full metal body, tight mechanics and clean modern optics. The images produced are clean and sharp, even at T2.2 (although the lens does sharpen up at T2.8). Focusing and aperture rings are both geared for cine use and super smooth. Being a 12mm the lens gives an excellent wide field of view for micro four thirds cameras, equivalent to a 24mm lens on a full frame camera. The lens also has insanely close focusing, about 20cm which means you can place the lens close to an object or person and still maintain focus. Being a rectilinear lens, it has super low distortion, so no funky fish eye shots. It is also part of a range of cine lenses Meike are releasing, all with identical positions for focus and aperture rings, making lens changes really quick. We’ve used the lens on several professional jobs with excellent results and will be looking to add more lenses to our Meike set.

Superb lens. The quality of these Meike cine lenses blows me away. Full metal build and wonderful glass. I’ve gotten sharp and pleasing footage from this in a number of challenging conditions.

Meike tiene objetivos de gran calidad a precios muy baratos k superan en calidad a objetivos de marcas reconocidas. Lo estoy usando con la blackmagic 4k y es el mejor objetivo que je probado con ella. Y eso k estaba usando un sigma 18-35 art k es de lo mejor y cuesta el doble. Este meike es nítido, luminoso y de metal. Lo recomiendo.
