The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to start a new knitting project for a mohair sweater. Starting the sleeve means I needed a short wire which are a little harder to come across than the generic 16 in wires. I was a little confused about the description but I am so happy I made this purchase! The quality of these needles and wires are amazing. In fact they are probably the best quality circular needles I now own. You receive US size 7 needles in 2 inches and 3 inches long along with two wires sizing in 6 inches and 7 inches. These are great for socks, sleeves of sweaters, and baby clothing. I highly recommend!

This is the only brand of needle that I'll use as long as they're in business. They're durable, well-made, and work well for what I need them to do.

I stumbled onto Chiaogoo about 4 years ago. I absolutely love everything about them. I was overjoyed when they came out with the Shorties. Trying to find 9” fixed circulars was nearly impossible in the sizes I wanted and needed. The shorties are awesome. I have the sizes I want. The tips are nice and pointed. The joins for cables and adapters are smooth. They are a little costly , but well worth the investment to me. In the long run I do not have multiple circular sets in different lengths everywhere.I saw review by one person telling how she likes to use a 2” needle on one end a 3” needle on the opposite end of the cable. I find myself doing the same.Chiaogoo does not currently sell the 2” needle separately, but they do sell the 3”. Right now I can only buy extra sets of needles (to make flexible double points) which leaves me with a lot of 5 and 6 inch cables. Now that they have come out with cables that swivel, I wish they could be included in the sets.

I just got these a couple days ago and used one to do a rounded toe with the 2 circular method, the other needle was my fixed 9” chiaogoo. I just cast on the 2nd sock on the 5” cable and 2” tips this morning, I love my chiaogoo needles but think I like the fixed 9” better. The cables on this set are very thin compared to the fixed one, the connection is smooth, can tighten both cables and needle tips with the tightening pins. All in all I’ll keep them but if the cables on a larger set of minis are the same as these I would not buy them. Will stick to the fixed for sock needles if I need different sizes again. I have other interchangeable needles and cables from chiaogoo, size 6 through 9 and their corresponding cables too.

These are amazing for knitting socks and I enjoy the feel of them. I love these and rather use this size for small items rather than magic loop.

I love that I could buy the size I needed for socks, without having to buy other needles that I would rarely use. I do have trouble tightening these enough to stay and I have to check them every so often since the circumference of the sock means I’m loosening them often.

I have been struggling with double pointed needles when I make socks for years then I ran into a pattern that called for a short circular needle. I had never seen one so I checked on Amazon, found these and thought I would give them a try. They are a little different to get used to, but once your hands adapt to them they are amazing. I got the US size 1 tips, but I am going to get tips in more sizes as soon as I can. Socks work up much more quickly than on double points and you don't drop stitches. These little needles are worth a lot more than what they charge for them.

This order came on time with no problems.I wanted to try knitting with short needles and cables but it is just too fussy/fidgety. When you've been knitting with regular length 6" circular needles for years then move to 2"-3" needles it feels too hard to control the short needles. I didn't like it but will probably try again.

Ich liebe selbstgestrickte Socken und lieber es zu stricken. Socken stricken hat mir allerdings nie Spaß gemacht, da ich Nadelspiele nervig finde und vor allem diese Brücken an den Nadelübergängen hasse. Mit dieser Stricknadel gehören alle Contra Argumente der Vergangenheit an und ich habe im Nu ein weiteres Paar Socken gestrickt welches so perfekt geworden ist wie keines zuvor.Ich bin so begeistert von den Nadeln, dass ich mit gleich das Set der Shorties zum Ärmel Stricken gekauft habe, sodass ich künftig auch hieran mehr Spaß haben werde.Teuer aber für einen Vielstricker wie mich jeden Cent wert.

J'ai acheté ces aiguilles 2,5 circulaires interchangeables pour faire le bord côte des manches d'un gilet. Malheureusement le câble est trop court et il n'est pas compatible avec ceux que j'ai en ma possession. Je n'en sais pas si il est possible d'en acheter d'autres. Je trouve le prix très élevé.

Great smaller size cord.......they work great for smaller projects. I wish they were interchangeable with my other interchangeable needles but they are not.........the join / screw on part is much smaller. They do work great though.

I am very happy woth product. Still need to learn how to work, but it was exactly what I expected. Needle size is perfect, cord a bit too short for small projects, but with longer it is just perfect.

Es gibt einige besonders gute Stricknadeln - aber Chiaogoo ist laut meiner dauerstrickenden Lebensgefährtin nicht der Mercedes sonder eindeutig der Rolls Royce unter den Strickwerkzeugen. Sogar ich, der ich mit Not eine Mütze zustande bekomme, sehe wie leicht die Wolle läuft und wie angenehm das sich nicht verdrehende Verbindungskabel ist. Teuer, aber lohnt sich.
