I like to use a gel occasionally. This one holds my natural hair in place without making it to stiff or crunchy. This is my second purchase, a wonderful go to on a rainy day or great to use when I need a quick fix.

I love how silky this ends up making your hair! It's sticky feeling at first but dries quickly and keeps your hair in place. If you use a curling or flat iron it will hold well without feeling crunchy. I have fine long hair and I love to put it on from roots to ends while hair is wet. I then comb, twist or crunch it into my desired hair style and let it air dry. My hair when dry feels silky and not full of product. I love it!

Ever since they’ve changed the formula It’s not even worth buying. It does not give the same results. I only paid the $9 in hopes of this bottle being one of the older ones with the real gorilla picture. It is not. It is the crap newer version : (

I would rate this 5 stars EVEN though they got the order wrong. When I received it, it arrived earlier then it said would. So that's a plus! Another plus, The packaging was fantastic. They wrapped it good so it wasn't bouncing around in the box to where the lid would get broken or something could puncture it. It was definitely impressive. The ONLY reason I said it was the wrong order and it's not necessarily a bad one but its because I ordered the neon green bottle for my fiance because he specifically asked for that one and I ordered it from here because it was the one he was looking for and it was for a REALLY great price! Instead I got the bluish/greenish color bottle. Not knowing anything about hair gel, I was bummed cause it was the wrong one and thought he wasn't going to like it. When he got home from work he was excited because he said it was actually better than the one he specifically asked for. So in the end everyone is happy. Thank you!

Okay so I was initally NOT on board with this product, because anything called "gorilla snot" is not something I would love to put in my hair!! However, I bought this after researching products that withstand Florida's humidity for my long wavy hair that tends to get OUT OF CONTROL in the humidity. This product is actually amazing. Be warned that it is VERY sticky when applied, but when it dries, my curls are not crunchy or sticky, but they are soft and manageable once they have dried- and I have struggled to keep these combo waves.curls at bay in the humidity for YEARS. (I do not use a diffuser) My husband has actually started using this product for his hair too, and he loves it as well. I would recommend this product, and I am very pleased with the price point.
