The sellers says the case fits a 1TB T5 Samsung SSD, that part is true. HOWEVER the case is not big enough to fit in 1 set of cables the T5 comes with let alone big enough in size to fit the 2 cables the T5 comes with. So the C/C and USB/C will not both fit in the case, and getting 1 cable in the case takes effort.DON'T BUY if you plan on storing either or both sets of cables in the case.

This case fits and holds the Samsung T5 500 GB Portable SSD very well. The problem, however, is neither of the cables that I need to use with the drive fit in the netting side.The pictures on the Amazon web page show the case with a cable fitting in there quite well. Unfortunately, it's not one of the cables that Samsung includes with the T5.I just set up a return for this case. I don't recommend it for anyone that wants to be able to bring along the USB cables you'll need to use with the drive.

I bought this case to protect the drive, but maily to be able to carry the cable along easily. Given the reviews that say the cables don't fit, I was expecting to only be able to carry along one cable (after wrapping it a bit tighter).Much to my surprise, both cables fit perfectly. Maybe Samsung is now shipping shorter cables?EDIT: well, looking a bit closer I can see the case we received differs from others. Seems to be a bit longer, without the strap. So they must have changed the design a bit (or are sourcing from a different factory).

A bit short in length to house both the cables that are supplied. Fits the Samsung T5 drive perfectly but you'll only EASILY fit one of the two cables that come with the drive. WHAT A SHAME. Had it only been an inch longer it would be perfect.I had to severely bend the two cables very tightly to fit. This potentially can damage them.I've decided to return it

Great "hard" case designed for storing one or two Samsung T5 external hard drives. Case is made from sturdy ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Elastic strap that secures the drive inside the soft material lined case well and the mesh storage "pocket" are sewn in, not glued. Nice quality metal zipper with nylon teeth. Comes with a 5.5" long hand strap with lobster claw style clip. Drive storage well is 3" X 2.25" by 0.25" deep but can easily hold two drives stacked on top of one another. Finger indention for easy drive removal from storage well. Only minor complaint is the mesh pocket isn't large enough to store both 15" long cables that come with the external hard drive.

It's a great little case, but it's just a tad too small for the two cables provided by Samsung. You will have to rewind the cables to make them smaller to fit inside. You can finagle the cords inside, but only one will fit inside the little mesh sleeve, but both won't fit inside. So, if you know you're only going to use one cable, then you can fit that one inside, but if you're going to use the drive as a mobile storage which will need either cable, then you're going to have to double one cable up and put the other on top of the drive in order to get the case closed. It is a strong little case and the drive fits in perfectly. It's a snug fit though, so getting the drive out is a big of a tug. Frankly if it was about an eighth of an inch bigger all around it would be a perfect case.

This is my 4th case for T3/T5 Samsung SSD drives. Mostly different manufacturers each time (once the same) and they are all similar and fine, differing only in size (slightly) and the mesh compartment for the connecting cable. I also use this as my "vault" while traveling, for the drive, the cord, and also it will fit a flash drive &/or SD card, all safely in my carry-on.This one has no extra dead space in it, just a snug spot for the drive and just enough space for the accessories. Zips closed easily, nicely hard-shell, just perfect. Just works. A happy camper with this particular case, using with my latest T5.

It's just a little thicker than I thought it would be (the SSD itself is only about 1/4-inch thick while the case, when closed, is about 1-1/2 inch thick). The extra pocket is handy for holding a coiled-up USB cable.

Two TB is a must for backup and intense image and music works. This is a small sturdy addition to my PowerBook.
