Red/Clear LED Tail Lights Assembly Set for Chevrolet Full Size - (Pair) Includes Driver Left and Passenger Right Side Replacement

Arrived fast, was as advertised. Installed it easily in my 1999 Suburban 2500. Was easy to install once you figure out how to get the olds ones off. To remove old ones there are a couple of plastic/rubber plugs covering the retaining screw access. Remove the screws carefully because if you drop them it is tough to get them back out. Once the two screws for each side is removed, use a hard plastic type screw driver or something along those lines to loosen the seal around the old lights, it may be stuck on there pretty good. Examine the new replacement tail lights, you will see two tabs that will slide into a slot where the old ones come out, this means when you try to pull off the old lens, pull first from the inner part or you may break the tabs if you try from the other side. It is all actually pretty easy. You will use the plug from the harness in the car to plug into the new lens just like the old ones. You will need to peel off the sticky back on the little LED controller and put it on the flat part of the new lens, try a dry fit first before securing everything.

They look great on my truck. I have a 1997 GMC K1500 Z71. They are definitely brighter and make the truck look a lot better. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because the turn signal is a lot faster now than it was before. I know its because of the resistance in the circuit from switching to LEDs but I would have thought the resistor that came with the lights would have fixed that. Other than that these lights are great.

Not as bright as I thought they would be. Wish the LED's were more directional, have to be directly behind the vehicle to see them lit.

These are definitely worth the money. They fit snug and line up great. Thought there would be an issue with the led box but everything worked out perfectly and didn’t have to force anything just angle it right and it looks so much better. Definitely would invest.

Pleased so far, they look and perform well. I will see how long they last. A little pricey but if they last 5 years I will be satisfied.

My husband installed these tail light on a 99 Suburban and they are awesome. They are bright, fit perfectly, and have a built-in resistor that fits snugly on the inside of the housing to eliminate hyper-flashing. The only thing he would change is that the back-up light is a regular Incandescent bulb, so it would be better if it had been LED as well. He replaced those with LEDs and WOW what a difference, very bright!

I just got these and they are pretty adequate replacement fixtures. Nice and bright, but not too obtrusive. I wish they came with instructions even though they are easy to put in. There is a capacitor or something that requires that you stick it somewhere with the provided double sided tape. Where? I stuck it to the back of the fixture, but now I'm thinking that it should be tucked inside the body a little. I'll try that once I replace the incandescent 1156 lamps with LED.

Very nice product and good quality. I give it 5 stars because it performs as advertised. The only reservation I would state to others is because circuit resistance may vary between different vehicles and even different sides of the car the blinking rate may be different between the units. My drivers side light blinks somewhat fast as oppose the passenger side blinker. I do not feel this is the fault of the product but is something that others may need to be aware of. These lights were installed on a 1989 Chevrolet short bed Z71 and really brought a refreshed look to the back of the truck.
