110% WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!
This product is very very very solid, I will be buying more, and its worth buying, the 12"×20" is perfect and I use it on a T post mount and T post ONLY for many reasons. The best way to make this great product last a long time is to use it with a T post mount and a T post, make sure to get a good angle. As my pictures show the T post IS NOT VERTICLE/STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN but at a GOOD ANGLE TOWARDS THE SHOOTER resulting in a much greater angle of the plate at the ground making all ricochet go straight down into the ground/SAFE DIRECTION! Doing this is important and makes the plate last. I do not condone shooting steel from any distance except what the manufacturer/ product clearly states is the correct and safe distance and calibers only AND ALWAYS WEAR PROPER EYE PROTECTION...I have used this plate 3 times now with about 550 rifle rounds between 45-50 yards with .308, 7.62×39, 5.56 & M855, .223 and about 600 pistol rounds at exactly 10 yards with .45, .40, .38spl, 9mm, .380... Yes the M855/green tip did, does and will damage/pit the plate as shown in the picture with white paint. As you can see I only shoot as close as I do because of the huge angle of my setup, I don't recommend doing this with the plate on hangers. You will get a lot of back spatter. This plate is very strong and will last long if used at the proper distance and calibers the manufacturer recommends, I do not condone shooting this plate at any distance or caliber except for what the manufacturer recommends with proper eye perfection. I will buy many more of these great plates at this price. It's absolutely perfect and as described in the description, great value for money, extremely durable and sturdy if used properly. 110% satisfied!! I highly recommend this product! Always get a good angle when mounting this plate as shown in my pictures!

Good target.
So I'm no expert on these so maybe I'm wrong but I like it. I've shot it probably about 500+ times between 5.56 and 9mm and it's holding up. A couple pits but I mean, eventually that's what happens to metal when it's shot in the same spot a dozen plus times, right? Also I can just flip it over and have a fresh target when one side gets too damaged. Shot it with 5.56 at 100, 75, and 50 yards. 9mm at like 15 yards.

Great target for the money
I've had this a while now so wanted to review. It's been great for us. I set up a small range at our home (we have several acres and a large berm) and tried this brand of target out. We mainly just use it for .22 lr which this is overkill for but it works perfectly with zero damage after thousands of rounds. My kids are in SASP and we all compete in Steel Action so these get a lot of use. Zero issues and I'd buy more if I wanted to expand the range. I did shoot some 9mm a few times and again, no damage using FMJ rounds.

Durable Steel Target
Very durable steel target. Suitable for all pistol calibers and rifle calibers from a suitable distance.

Small than it seems....
I have several of their products and am generally pleased, but this was much smaller than the photos show it to be. Make sure that you look at measurements, and if you have to get something that is the same size to give you an idea of what it is. I can use it, so it's not worth the hassle of sending it back but will be ordering a larger size.

They work great and are lots of fun
The orange looks good but after the gong is hit the powder coat just comes off. It did not cost extra so no loose right. Just FYI the powder coat does come right off. ALSO it is clear in the pic that the gong hole is square, of course this could be OK if you plan to bolt & chain them. I bought the hang n hook system, and they technically do fit in the hole but then they won't hang on the pole. I did drill them so it will work and my boy can hang them up and take them down. DRILLING that is another story, AR500 is some special stuff, none of my drill bits did doodley squat. I did use a 1/2 " carbide mason bit and managed to get 4 holes drilled but destroyed my bit. Anyway all is good now I'll probably buy a couple more but will look for a gong with the round hole NOT a Square hole, they are to tight. Thanks for the fun OH my boy was shooting 22LR at about 25 yards worked perfect. I couldn't resist so I hit them my self with my glock 23 .40 cal ding ding ding ding no dents :)

Bang a Gong, Get it On!
We decided to upgrade our outdoor range targets so we purchased a few of these Highwild gongs (and Highwild brackets and 6" hooks.) Shipping on four 4" and one 6" was fast. All were individually boxed tightly in cardboard and came in one Amazon shipment. They were as the picture indicated and the black paint was a nice touch. So far so good.We used 3/4" EMT for the legs and crossbar, which was very stable and had no sagging with a 5' crossbar. These gongs and hooks held up well against 9mm (115 gr) and 22LR at approximately 15 yards. The 22LR would move the 4" gong, but barely budge the 6" gong. The 9mm would spin the 4" gong and frequently fall off the hooks. Chains and bolts would be better. I wouldn't call this a negative, but was definitely a learning experience on what sizes work best at that distance. The 6" gong did much better with the 9mm so we'll stick to that next time using hooks only. There was no pitting or chipped edges after many hits. The initial concern was that the edges might show more abuse due to the heat-affected zone (HAZ) from laser cutting. This was not the case at all in our conditions. Each point of impact would remove the black paint revealing the gray metal underneath. This is expected, but next time we'll bring a can of spray paint to refresh the targets and/or apply a coat at the end of the day to protect them while stored. The combination of the visible movement, paint removal, and audible ping make the experience better when compared to paper targets. The durability over paper and clay targets also resulted in less back and forth for resetting.I would recommend these gongs. I've already planned expansion for next month's outing. Just note that your mileage may vary as caliber size increases.
