Pretty Little Lights!
These fairy lights are bright and gorgeous! And so much fun! Very versatile too. One thing I use them for is in lanterns I make putting my fused glass panels in. They light up nicely, are bright and last a very long time! I’ve had some for a year that are still working! I continue to buy them so I definitely recommend these!

bright fair lights
These lights are nice and bright and have been great using them around a Christmas angel where the lights no longer worked. I would purchase them again if needed.

Good Price but Limited Use
The review below was written earlier along with a 3 star review that started with, "Meh." Now at the end of the season, I have an improved opinion of these little lights. I have not been contacted by anyone or pressured into changing my rating; actually, when someone does that, I always come back and remove a star, then contact the fraud department. But in this case, I have just changed my mind about them.Initially I wanted to use these lights outdoors; I did use one string outside, and it lasted just as long as the indoor light strings did. A lot of battery-run copper lights go kerflooey when exposed to Seattle's rain, but these did not. Score one. Then, once I realized how short these strings are, I began looking for places to use them. We have a dog that chews almost anything and two small grandchildren, so that limited my choices. Even so, I found some places I have never put lights before that added cheer and whimsy. (See pictures.) I threaded one through the mesh of the pan rack in the kitchen; I put another on the stair railing. I'm disabled and was pleased to discover that the lights fit exactly once around the frame of the chair on my stairlift, and didn't interfere with the mechanism. And since they are so short, they're not nearly as much work to remove at the season's end as the longer strings I bought from other vendors.I didn't use them any of the places I had planned. The length isn't great enough for any kind of formal lighting display. But they added brightness to the season, and so now I think it's all about how creative and flexible the user is in implementing them. My rating increased from 3 stars to 4.This is my third Christmas experimenting with copper wired Christmas lights run by batteries. I've had mixed success, primarily because wet batteries will ruin the lights, and although the lights themselves are water proof, the battery box is attached to the lights. I had hoped to be able to put my lights on the trellises and vines in my front yard, which would provide a beautiful display that we could see out of our front window, but Seattle is having the wettest December in ten years, and it is obviously a fool's errand to try to hang these lights out in the weather. However, in this case it's not a big loss because these are dinky little light strings that wouldn't do much good as landscaping lights. You could wrap one around your porch light, I suppose, or do what I did here and wrap it around a potted plant that is partially protected by a covered porch. We are unlikely to have magazine photographers swarming our house to document the beauty of our light show, but it does add a spot of cheer. There are six little strings in the box and I scored them on sale at about nine bucks, so it's not a huge investment.I have never seen this design before and it took me a hot minute to figure it out. I had a full box of Amazon batteries but couldn't see where the battery box is. Finally I realized that the tiny thumb-sized tab on the end is indeed the battery box. I have no clue what sort of battery fits here, but I can live with that because I have no intention of ever replacing the batteries. When these little hummers go dead, they're going in the trash. This is admittedly less than ideal in terms of the environment; in my defense, I didn't realize how odd the design was until I got them. So I will use them in odd spots around the house, but I doubt I will order them again. (Revised review: at this price, I just might buy them again, actually.)

Don’t last long
Really love these, but they’re not very bright at all you in fact, you could barely see it unless you turn the lights out. They burn out very quickly, but they lasted for a party and that was while I bought them so they serve their purpose which was single use.

Battery Life
I used these to add a light feature to rustic trees I built. The strings I used lasted three nights before they faded out.
