The cuff is constructed very nicely with great quality leather. I originally wanted to get the black version but opted for the brown. The black one would be cool if it had silver instead of gold snaps. I thought the brown would look better with the gold snaps (and it does), its a very deep, dark brown. The two snaps are sturdy and will keep the hold on your wrist. However it needs to be broken in because the leather is very stiff and leaves marks on your wrist if worn for a long period of time at first.

Just got it today and I must say it looks greatI can tell I'll have it quite a while since I'm using the farthest clip and it still fits me just a little bit loose, so it's not too tight nor it moves around my armThe smell is nice brand new leather and the black matches perfectly with the goldish metal

The strong smell that some reviewers are calling leather musk is rather chemical/paint smell. I am not so sure it is even real leather, doesnt feel or smell like any of the genuine leather items I own. It is quite stiff and despite the "macho" design, it is made for smaller wrists.It does look nice, so an extra star for that. Would rate with two stars but it is very cheap ( even came in a pack of two which was a surprise). You get what you pay for I guess.

I needed a leather bracer for a steampunk costume and ordered this one on a whim. It's very well made. My only issue is that the leather is very stiff/hard, so it can be a little uncomfortable, especially if you're wearing it tight. Really nice looking though.

I wore it today and received many many compliments.I am a breaker and a capoeirista. Today I did some movements and forgot to remove it. It stayed on the entire time.

2 years ago, this item was dyed leather. Very comfortable, very durable. I had to buy a replacement recently, and the new version of the item is painted fake leather. The paint is already starting to wear off after 1 use. The material is also very stiff, and scratches my wrist. This item is only receiving 2 stars because it is cheap. My advice is to show a picture of this item to a leather craftsman and have them handmake you a much better version for a few dollars more. Will not be purchasing again.
