Hair Removal Wax Strips Face, Underarms & Bikini, 24 Count

I have NEVER used at-home waxing in my life. I would on occasion (ie before a big celebration) go to a nail place to get my upper lip waxed, which would be $10 after a tip, and if I were patient, I would pluck the hairs. I only pluck my eyebrows, though, because I can maintain my shape just fine on my own. ANYWAYS, I have black hair and my lip wasn't so bad, but I'm really self-conscious (especially driving home with the sun hitting my face I would notice the hair)...So, these strips are AWESOME. I heated the strips for like 3-5 seconds with a hair dryer after cutting them long-wise. I did have to go about 3 rounds of pulling hairs on each side, but I only used one 1/2 strip per side (ie I kept using until it wasn't sticky) and only had to pluck out a few stray hairs (as expected, but it was maybe <10/side).They didn't hurt NEARLY as bad as going to an aesthetician with the potted wax AND my upper lip wasn't red for more than 2 minutes afterwards (whereas, in store it would last for like 20 minutes/the ride home- my face is usually pretty sensitive to it). I don't think I'm ever getting waxed by a pro again. It's nice having a product that gets the job done (so smooth!!), saved so much time by staying at home, and the fact that it didn't irritate my skin (the flaming red lip from 'normal' waxing was always embarrasing to me as I trekked back home/walked through my apartment building).The only thing I wished were different were that the little soothing wipes were smaller so that we could get more of those. When I did the "test patch" I didn't want to open one and the wax was pretty hard to get off, though it did after I used some soap and a gentle wash-cloth, but the wipes made taking the left-over off so much easier and it's not like i'm using 6 double-sided strips in one sitting.

This wasn’t great for my skin.I really liked it while I was using it, but days later I broke out and my skin was peeling from it. It took about a week for it to return to normal. As far as hair removal goes, I found I had to go over the same spot multiple times to get the hair removed. It was in these spots that my skin was the worst later on.

These are very small strips; a whole box probably wouldn't do both armpits (half are about the size of my pinky, the other half are about double that). They were very gently on my skin (as gentle as waxing can be) and the after-waxing wipes did a great job of removing residual wax and softening my skin. The strips would sometimes do very well, but other times they would leave a majority of the hairs behind. It seemed to be anyone's guess which it would be.

These are a very interesting by I personally wouldn’t buy these again I really didn’t feel like they worked the greatest compared to other brands on the market and I do like the ingredients in this product but the effectiveness wasn’t that

This gave me horrible zits where ever I used it on my face and I have completely clear skin. I WOULD NOT recommend it to anyone, whilst the peach fuzz on my face is gone, now there's allergic reaction acne that'll I'll have to treat for probably over a week. Going from clear skin to this is extremely disappointing. I would not use this again, the effects are far too damaging to the complexion.

I bought these to use on the unibrow of my 13 year old son. I have bought the ones at the store in the past but they just weren't working very well anymore. Tried these out yesterday. With just doing it one time, it got off almost all the hair. It's a hard place to wax because hair is going in all different directions. Ended up doing it twice and then plucking like 3 hairs. Still so much better than what we were doing.I only use a small piece of the strip so as long as they don't dry out before I use them up (kept wrapped in plastic) then I'll keep it at 5 stars.

I got these for removing my chest hair after the full waxing kit completely failed to work for me. These strips work reasonably well, but still left a few hairs that I had to tweeze. The biggest problem is that the strips can really only be used once, and they're pretty long, so if you need to wax a large area you're going to plow through them so fast that it might be cheaper to get yourself waxed professionally. As with any waxing, this left my skin red and left some residue that needs to be washed off. Not bad, not great.

I feel this is a worth while purchase, it does remove facial hair with a little discomfort, but I am pleased.
