Two pitbulls are harassing my mom when she walks to her mailbox. Neighbors across the street just let the two 40lb dogs roam free. Ultrasonic dog repellent didn't work, Air horn works sometimes, hitting them with a stick didn't work, rocks sometimes work, Bear repellent works great, but the button was too hard to press for her. The snarling, barking dogs were about 3' from her on each side while she crossed the street to get her mail. She zapped one of them when he lunged at her. It yelped and both of them took off. Hopefully they won't come back for more. The neighbor knows what's next.

It works great for dogs that fight over food. I can’t stand a fight so to break between my dogs so I just use this. Now where they know what that orange stick is.

I bought this for humane protection from loose dogs when going for walks in my neighborhood. The price was attractive. Others manufacturers listed were pricey. When it arrived I tried it out. Mine did not make a zap noise. Upon some further "testing" I found it worked. Ouch! I do not recommend doing that. I am very pleased with the shock strength. This thing is a waste of mo ey I've used it once and the battery is fried it does not work I'll update if the seller can fix the problem it's to expensive to just not work for no reason they SUCK VERY VERY BAD

Don't use unless I have to but Saturday morning loading a couple head of beef they just wouldn't budge , well it worked as expected . It's light weight quick and only one shot was necessary. Great product,
