High quality but inconsistent toasting. Maybe I just got unlucky.
Ordered the Medium Plus toast but it didn't seem to be toasted dark enough. Contacted the seller and they sent me PlusPlus which, when mixed with the initial one, will be perfect. Definitely a quality product, but hopefully the improve their toasting consistency.

Smells very good
Smells oaky, not too much of a heavy smell. Its really light and i cant wait to use it for my wines. Perfect small cubes

Charing wood
We loved the Charing color and flavor of vanilla and caramel will be buying again.just pricy for a 4 ounce bag.

Look dirty but...
These are quite different than the ones a vanilla bean vendor sells. These are dirty and there are chards of wood (and I believe dirt) throughout the bag. Are these food quality? I’ve been steeping my vanilla for almost 2 years and was going to use these for 2 weeks to finish it, but I truly feel it might ruin the batch? EDIT: I rinsed and used 5 cubes and it made a world of difference in just 8 days!!! YES!!! BUY THESE! But be mindful to rinse to get the dust and chards off.
