Amazing
I had no idea what Saba was before ordering this and I am so happy that I did. This has perfected my plant-based dinners! I use as fresh extra virgin olive oil as I can find while not being too bitter and then will pour it into a sauce bowl. From there, I'll put a small amount of saba in which settles at the bottom due to its high viscosity. I then will then take pieces of a baguette and dip it into the olive oil first while soaking up some of the saba as well. It creates such a decadent bite, almost reminds me of a really nice english muffin but far tastier and more enjoyable. The sweet taste of saba mixes so well with fresh olive oil!

Tooooooo Good!
Love a Touch of this on my morning plain oatmeal, and also add walnuts. Of course excellent with choice of oils on salad, particularly if one needs to cut a vinaigrette. This grape musk could become a bad habit💕

Saba’s unique flavor
I read an article about Saba and it’s special uses . I lived in Italy and never had it . I am in love! I used it on an Apple, Golden Raisin, Walnut Galette. I tossed the fruit in Saba and a couple tablespoons of brown sugar and sprinkled pumpkin pie spice all over the mixture baked in a pastry crust. Egg washed the edges then spice and brown sugar! Flat bread crackers , spread goat cheese add drizzle of Saba.

I used to use balsamic glaze but not anymore.
I was never happy with the add ingredients in balsamic glaze, high fructose sweeteners, cornstarch, caramel coloring. When I saw Saba had only one ingredient, grape must, I decided to give it a try. Wow! Now I have bottles of glaze that I will never use. Saba may cost a little more but some things are just worth it.

This high quality balsamic vinegar was bought as a gift for a foodie friend who appreciates the good things in life. The bottle and label indicate an upmarket product and judging by the salad dressing prepared by friend when I visited this tastes delicious too with really good rich depth of flavour.
