Read In One Sitting
I loved this book, I thought it was such an elegant celebration of age that acknowledged the not-so nice parts of aging without diminishing a woman's value. This isn't a perspective or narrative you read very often. It was a joy to read from start to finish, one of the best ways I've spent an afternoon in quarantine. xo

Fun, quirky and smart ! It made me laugh for seeing myself in so many situations! This book feels like talking to your girlfriends over lunch and laughing together over your secret stories!
I wish it was a little longer and I wish it had more text and stories. You can read it pretty fast.

Mediocre
I’m always a sucker for French style guides. This one was eh. Some of the vignettes were poignant, but the book seemed thin on content. Plus the humor was a little canned/greeting card.

So good, I bought 2 more to gift
I have been a fan since their first book, How To Be Parisian. I rarely rate and review amazon things but this one truly deserves one! This book is so good that I got 2 more to gift to my friends! I’m in my early 30s and so are my friends but trust me, you will laugh, cry, and identify with every page they wrote. ❤️

Charming and enjoyable read
As a woman of “une certain age,” I enjoyed the perspectives of my fellow travelers into maturity. The book is funny and charming, and I picked up some useful tips and inspiration.

Loved it, from aperitif to digestif :)
Haters will hate. I adored this book. It is NOT about how to be Parisian, as its predecessor was. So if that’s what you’re expecting, move along. Rather, it is something that delves deeper into the life of the female as she approaches and exists within “a certain age.” It is an examination of, rather than a guide to, our middle years, and while it offers American girls such as myself a decidedly French perspective, it can be enjoyed with a few dozen smiles no matter what corner of the world you call home.

Humorous and real! Couldn’t put it down. Just too short. Loved the writing style, pics and illustrations. Highly recommended!Looking forward to the next one!

Cute & Intentionally Snobbish
This book is light-hearted, at times poignant and at other times quite shallow, but always French. Overall, an enjoyable read for we women of a certain age.

A gift for the growing heart and body
It just fails to disappoint, and that too on every single page. Grab your copy and prepare to laugh, ponder over and grin all in one sitting. Did I mention it fails to disappoint? Yeah. That too. Terribly good!

Very French, very chic!
While not making any unrealistic promises, the authors provide information in a very helpful way for all of us who are getting just a 'little' older! Love this book!
