Cute and functional
Finally something cute and functional; they actually stay up too. I have no outer thigh and very much all inner thigh so the Chub rub is real; having to wear shorts isn’t always what I want to do; I like the option of having these as an option especially in the summer. I’m going to get the non lace ones next for more active things.

Good fashion assessory
Pros: the fit perfect. Color blends with my skin tone nicely. Con: why is it that one stay perfectly and the other rolls or slides down your leg when you are walking to your car. I would recommend rhem

I Feel Sexy and Feminine Again!
I didn't even know what "chub rub" was until I joined a Plus Sized group when I was planning our honeymoon to Disney. But, I knew it not only made me miserable, but really embarrassed me.When my husband and I were first dating, I had to resort to wearing bike short style panties anytime I wore a skirt. Of course, I had to worry about those bike shorts showing under the skirt as lumps, below the hem of the skirt, or that they might ride up and defeat the purpose. They also made an extra layer of heat in the summertime. The alternative was just to make sure I didn't walk too much. Even worse, what if he put his hand on my thigh and felt that awkward lump under the skirt? I couldn't help but think of them as my "fat girl panties" or "fat girl scuba gear." I certainly did not feel like a beautiful woman or sexy or attractive. I felt embarrassed. I know that skinny girls wear them too for shaping, but I still felt awkward and unattractive. After I got married, I still had a preoccupation with it. My husband loved my body, but that thigh-chafing problem really embarrassed me, so I would dress out of eye-shot when I wore a skirt and I never wore shorts.Bandalettes have been a complete blessing. They look like lingerie and don't make you feel like you're wearing granny panties under your clothes. They look like something you wore deliberately to feel pretty and feminine. They don't look like something you're wearing "to keep your thighs from rubbing." They look just like an attractive addition to your garment - like an accessory. When I first pulled them out I worried about the fit. If you measure like they ask you to, you really have nothing to worry about. These are NOT tight, nor do they feel snug. They fit comfortably and stay up nicely. I tend to buy loose clothing (especially pants) and I have no complaints on how these fit. You can feel that they work as soon as you try them on. Where skin used to grip, it now just glides easily past. The lace is not scratchy and holds it's pattern well when put on.They are made in China, designed in the US.They are hand wash, but really that's pretty easy. The packaging is attractive and subtle, I'm including a picture. For sizing, definitely measure your thigh. Mine was smaller than the pant size recommendation and it fits perfectly!I can't say enough about this wonderful design and I'm going to order more colors today if they are available in my size.Thank you Bandalettes! I finally feel feminine and attractive again! Now I can wear more of the clothes I love.

One was good, the other rolled down
I wanted to love these so much. I measured myself and I am exactly between sizes. I had tried a pair of the lace ones when they first came out a few years ago and lace was the only option and only beige or black, and they rolled down on me. Feedback from the company was that maybe they were too small. I've gained a little weight since then, so since I am in between sizes, this time I went for the larger size and the unisex, thinking perhaps the company has improved their product. These are either better than they used to be, or the plain nylon bands are better than the lace bands, but still not quite what I wanted. I was able to wear them to the subway, but before as soon as I got to my stop, had to step into the least crowded space I could find and hike the right one back up. A few steps more, and I had to do it again. I got up to the street and it fell down on me! I was so embarrassed. It must have looked like I was stepping out of my underwear on the street. I put it in my bag quickly. I thought perhaps I could get it to work ok, and when I got into a rest room, put it back on. No luck, it fell down again after a few minutes, so I went through the rest of my morning with just the left one on. Fortunately, chub rub is from legs rubbing together, and they are fine rubbing on nylon. It was the bandalette, though, not my leg, as I went to the gym mid-day. I didn't know which one was which after my shower and I put them back on, but as soon as I put them on, I could see that the left one was rolling. I thought perhaps I could fix it by flipping it upside-down. No such luck. It wouldn't stay up. I walked back holding it up through my dress so I didn't have a repeat of the stepping out of it on the street incident from the morning, and I went through my afternoon wearing one just on my right leg. I did find that it stayed up better on the left leg, so I switched the good one from right to left since I was going to be out in the evening as well. I guess I will wear just one. It works ok, but not as I was hoping.I do wonder if the unisex ones, one size down, are what I need, but I'm not sure that I'm willing to spend another $17 to find out.
