Best up flushing motor
Love this. Best one ever. Install my basement bathroom 10 years ago and the first motor lasted all this time. Just replace the motor every thing lined up so easy. Took about15 minutes to change over.

Reliable pump
This pump identically replaced the previous pump - which lasted for 9 years! - in a basement setup that got moderate to heavy use at times.

Liberty Ascent Pump
I had to replace a 10 year old Liberty Ascent pump in which the diaphragm stopped working. Unfortunately replacement parts were unavailable. I had to purchase a new unit which cost about $1,000.Reviewers here said that the unit was the same physical dimensions as the old unit. It was, except the discharge and vent had a horizontal orientation as opposed to vertical like the old unit. The only issue with the unit itself is that the two side inlets are so small it's almost impossible to get a clamp to stay on them. There is very little info online for installation help. The unit does work great though!

Received pump broken basket in pieces.
Brought this as a replacement for the same pump? I had for the last seven years. Basket was not secured for shipping and as a result allowed to slide on track! I’m going to try again to order since I still need to replace the old pump that worked great for seven years. A good product I just need to know how to ship it without damaging it.

Works well -- most of the time
Use of this unit was the only way for me to put a toilet in the basement because it is much lower than the septic tank level.Besides the toilet, I have a sink and a bath hooked up to it.This is my second unit. The first one stopped working after a year and they replaced it under the 3-year warranty without a hassle. This is the newer model and has an alarm when it faults -- like when the septic tank backs up!Their tech support is easy to get hold of, and its a real tech who can explain all the details. The problem with this type of pump, and not just from this vendor, is that it does not work without electricity. Murphy's Law applies and I have had flooding when the power just happened to fail while pumping. I now have UPS hooked up to it, but it would be nice if the alarm can be wired to a water shut-off valve.
