Works fine so far (2 weeks)

Easy to install and hookup, but starter made a rat-a-tat repeating sound before engaging. Did this about a dozen times so I quit for the day. Checked connections, every thing was good. Tried again the next day, no rat-a-tat, engaged ok. Seems to be working OK, but starter makes a high-pitched whine when engaging. Time will tell, it has a warranty. I'll update later, if necessary.

I bought this starter for my mom's 2005 Grand Am. It came in a few days worked flawlessly. A quality auto part.

I was very skeptical about ordering this for my truck. But it was easy to install and works Great ! It's been in about a week. No problems.

Depending on your vehicle. On my truck taking off the old starter was a pain in the-youknow what. I couldn't remove it without loosening the sensor cable since the wires are not long enough to reach below the exhaust pipe.Anyways I finally installed the new one and upon starting the vehicle the starter was just spinning and the gear was whining but not engaging the flywheel. It was stuck. So to remedy this I tried cranking the in engine and hold the key in the start position and finally it got loose. So now it works great. Yeah the install was easier than taking off the old one. Good luck installing the nut on the sensor cable bolt,you need small hands to reach through the suspension. Don't be afraid it's possible.

Fits perfectly on a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS. And for that price? Forget the auto parts store that charge triple for this part
