Product works extremely well, you must use three consecutive doses, taste of this powder is not readily liked on dry dog food. I mix it with moist food to add to the kibble.

Our puppy likes to eat other dogs' poop so we've had TOO MANY Giardia infections. At first, I took the puppy to the vet to get a prescription. But after the third infection, I knew the drill. These packets are cheaper than what my vet charges and I don't have the hassle of going to the vet. (I did buy at-home Giardia tests. I wouldn't give this to him without confirming the cause of diarrhea.)General treatment is: 3 days of the packets and seven days of rest. One the seventh day, retest. If the test is positive then I would give another 3 days of treatment.Our dog eats literally anything so I could just mix it with water for him to eat.

This product must be used appropriately and does not work against all parasites. Consult with your vet- they went to vet school to be bored senseless memorizing parasite species life cycles! And get your pet's poop tested first AND after treatment!For most roundworms and hookworms you administer a dose once daily for 3 consecutive days and REPEAT in 2 weeks. We dose this in dogs rounding up to the NEAREST 10 LBS. If your dog is 10.5 lbs we are treating with 20lb dose.For whipworms you must do a course and repeat MONTHLY for THREE months to knock them out.For giardia we typically use this in combination with a higher dose of metronidazole for 14 days in a row. SOMETIMES fenbendazole alone can be used.This product is NOT my go to for tapeworms (plus you have to treat the underlying flea issue) and is NOT effective against coccidia.As a vet I see lots of animals getting reinfested, if this is occurring and you're doing all you can to keep your yard poop free, ask your vet about monthly maintenance or 'preventative' products.Do not treat without a diagnosis and do not overuse dewormers! Resistance among parasites is becoming rampant in all species!

I deworm my dogs at least once a year and I always have this in my first pet aid kit. Kills every parasite, including giardia (6-7 days) and lungworm (≈10-14 days). Dogs take it without issue as it has no flavor.

Gave it to my doggie every night. I double checked all the weight/dosage requirements online and followed directions, in 3 days the treatment was 9ver and by 5 days his stool was back to normal. Cheaper than anywhere else and effective!
