Unfortunately, I got twelve minutes into a workout and one handle was apparently cracked or something as the rope came out and whipped out to my left.

One of the handles came off and broke within 5 minutes of using, however the seller had excellent customer service and sent me a replacement.

I spent a lot of time researching jump ropes to find the perfect one that would give me what I wanted, but was in my price range as well. This one did not disappoint. it's lightly weighted so you get a good upper body workout while using it, and it was really easy to adjust it to the length I needed it to be and then cut off the excess rope. I was immediately able to use it. The kinks from the packaging disappeared as soon as I started using it since it is weighted, and I've had zero issues with it twisting up on itself.

Hi All! I wanted to share my review for this rope and hopefully share my thoughts and keep anyone else from purchasing this product. It is DIFFICULT for me to give a 1 Star Review. But here are my thoughts explaining why this product deserves such a poor review.I bought this product 18 days ago and have used it as a warm up and a cool down for all of my workouts every day since. 20-25 minutes a day. I was pleasantly surprised by the protective covering around the rope where the rope should be contacting the ground. It seems to work well enough at protecting what it covers, however it is pretty thin and I've noticed some fraying on the outside/edges of the shell in the middle. This part was not the deal breaker.My biggest complaint comes from the handles. Here's why:* The plastic in these handles are light and flimsy. They've got a foam covering around them to make them comfortable to hold and it's fine, however I noticed they almost pool up my sweat and make them wet when I work up a heavy sweat. Bad smell now, but not noticeable from across the room.* The bearings that hold the rope started out not spinning for long when I would spin them by themselves. After 17 days of use, that spin-time is even shorter and sound like they're grinding sand inside them, despite the fact that they are only ever hanging in my closet, in my hands, or on the picnic table on my back porch. (All relatively clean, so there should be no reason the bearings are so ineffective after less than 3 weeks.* On day 16 of use, mid cool down, I had been jumping for maybe 6 or 7 minutes when the rope came flying loose from the handle and I thought to myself, "Oh, it must've become unscrewed and released the rope." but no. Upon inspection, the plastic piece which holds the adjustable portion of the rope had spontaneously snapped in half. The plastic, (earlier noted as light and flimsy) broke from daily use. I didn't ever throw them, drop them or over use them. These broke for no other reason than the fact that these are cheap and low quality. I was able to tape the plastic back together and continue using it, but I have already ordered a different rope. I will be throwing this in the trash as soon as I get the new rope.My recommendation : if you're on the marked for a jump rope, PURCHASE ANYTHING BUT THESE!!

This jumping rope is a heavy duty one, when I swing it remains steady which allow me continue swing withouttripping my feet. It is very durable and smart design. The section which will hit the ground with each swing iswell protected by additional piece of tube, that can really make the rope last longer. About the handles, theyare fine too, just make sure to screw the cap at the end of the handle before using it. I strongly recommend thisproduct,

I have had this for over a month and been jump roping every day and the rope is on the verge of breaking. Overall, I enjoyed it but am saddened that it is already about to break/frayed.Edit: The company is great. They have made it a point for me to feel like a valued customer and continued to communicate all the way. The weight of the rope felt good and I was enjoy using this over light ropes. Definitely will get again and highly recommend it.

Great rope. Perfect weight for a beginner speed jumper such as myself. I especially like the protected center of the rope that hits the ground. Rope should last significantly longer with the rubber portion on it. Plus the rubber part adds some weight to the rope during revolutions. Would suggest to a friend.

Solid product! I’d give 6 stars if I could. Absolute joy to use, with good weight. The speed ball bearing makes all the difference. The rope material is very similar to that of boating line in case you’re wondering what the rope is made of. Extremely satisfied, especially with the customer service of the seller! Great purchase and would def recommend
