Tusk Folding Shift Lever Black/Red Tip

Fits perfectly on the 250f, only product i could find that fixes the cover clearance problem so you can use thick boots

I found that when I got heavy ADV boots I could not use the stock shifter as the part of the shifter that contacts one's boot was too short. The TUSK shifter makes this much better as the part of the shifter that contacts one's boot is a little longer than stock. I also found that by angling the shifter up a couple of splines on the splined shifter shaft I am better able to get my big and clunky ADV boot underneath the shifter to upshift with no hindrance to downshifts.

This easy to install product makes my old motorcycle look great. The light weight shift leaver tucks in great and functions better than the OEM lever.

Installed on my crf250l. Installation was very easy and bolted right up. The actual lever weighs a lot less then the original one, and no where near as heavy duty. I took my Honda on a off-road trip and road 30 hard miles in all sort of terrain including gravel, dirt , water , and mud. Just after that first trip the red finish on the folding piece has started to wear. That finish won't last much longer. Some mud got into the folding mechanism and it became stuck. It's ok for mainly street use but I wouldn't use it for heavy off-roading as others have said. I've heard the Honda brand crf150f lever is a direct bolt up and has the folding lever , I'm going to buy that and replace the tusk with it soon.

We will see how it hold up over time but so far I prefer it to the stock shifter.
