Morphy Richards Soda Sparkle Soda System 134502 Twin Starter Kit

I got my son to help me use it as I'm not very good with new things. It works well and I can now use it on my own. Instructions say to use only Morphy Richards refills for it, but we have been unable to find any. I've not used any of the flavoured sachets yet.

I don't use the flavours but use normal Dilute juice, 1 gas refill does a bottle but saves carrying large bottles from a supermarket

I was looking forward to being able to make our own fizzy drinks like I did as a kid. Unfortunately, this unit turned out to be a complete waste of money as well as environmental claims used as a marking ploy.The problem really is the chargers which are used to carbonate the drinks. Every time you want to make a bottle of pop you need a charger. This isn't as cost effective as perceived and you need really to buy in bulk packs. This isn't kinder on the planet to manufacture either. Also I bought the starter pack which comes with two plastic containers being excessive on plastics.Recycling; In truth many councils don't recycle half as much as they should. Chancers are you would be better off sticking to 2L bottles for cost and environment since that type of plastic is largely reused. We do need to cut back on plastic but the fact is this until the production of non-reusable plastics is stopped or even out lawed, packaging is always going to continue to be a problem. If you want to aid this it will help if you stop buying any product that is packaged in any plastics that can't be recycled due to the gases they release when melted down. This is a company issue which is generally used to cut back on costs to raise their profit margins. Or even better write to them and tell them you are unhappy with the way they package due to environmental reasons.These particular flavorings are weak and also work out expensive.To conclude this buy isn't worth any merit. It would be more worth your while to buy a 20p 2L bottle of own brand sparking water and add your own juice or flavoring via plastics that show are widely recycled.I have contacted the seller about the buy and of course I have had no reply about returns.Thanx for reading.

Satisfactory but forced to use non standard morphy richard co2 cartridges that are more expensive

Does not work . no carbonation

The item its self is easy to use and quick, the little gas chargers are very cute and in the shape of a bottle they also slide in easy to the device. My issue are the syrups they are nasty with no flavour, my advice with this but Soda Stream syrups they taste a lot better the ones with it taste of nothing.
