Traxxas TRA3956X Spur Gear, Steel, 54-Tooth (0.8 Metric Pitch, Compatible with 32-Pitch) (for Center Differential)

I upgraded from plastic to this on my Rustler 4x4 VXL. Easy to install for somebody who's been into RC cars for a while. If not, refer to your parts diagram the came with your car and I'm confident you can figure it out! Going to try it out this weekend but my guess is it's going to work just fine and last a lot longer than plastic.

Replaced the spur gear on my rustler center diff. Still running strong

I used it to replace the spur gear on my traxxas hoss. I don't really like the durability of traxxas gears, but I dont know any compatably alternatives. If you find anyything compatable from another reputable brand, like hot racing or siimilar, get that. For moderate bashing it holds up fine most of the time. Little overpriced. Works fine.

This will destroy transmission and your small gear attached to motor! Stick to plastic!
