Rubies Mortal Kombat: Scorpion Costume for Adults, Men's Standard

Cheaply made but if managed right you can have a great Halloween costume. I got many compliments. Mask is very flimsy so I cut the top part of the mask off and added two strings to the bottom of the mask to pull it in tighter. I also added a hoody and elbow high gloves. The shoulder pads are pretty loose and thinly sewed in so you might want to hot glue or Krazy glue it down. All in all my costume came out great and many people stopped me to take pictures.

There are some costumes that look great, and then there are some in which the picture does do the product justice. I have gotten some costumes that seem like they are from the same company, but I may have been wrong about that. Be careful seeing the product picture as the picture looks better than the product. Let me explain more. First off, the outfit itself is not bad and fits pretty well. Some of the extras that come with it is what you are going to complain about. The wrist and shin guards are made of a thin styrofoam with painting for detail. They did the right thing by placing a thin plastic sheet to keep the items separated because some of the items would stick when you tried to take it out of the package. One of the main problems is the arm and leg guards don't have much velcro to work with. So if you don't have a lot of meat on your bones, it will feel a little loose. The mask is the biggest joke. It's nothing more than the front half of the mask with a rubber strap to put around the back of your head. (Yeah, it's a kids mask, not a full hooded mask that covers your entire head) So, when you order this, you might want to also order a black hood of some kind so it looks good. It does "not" come with a hood to go with the mask. Also, when you get the costume, make sure you air out the mast as it still has the stink of plastic/rubber on it. There are no air holes around the mouth area, so practice using the mask before you actually use it. The suit is basically a one piece outfit that you slip into. The shoulder pads are sown into the suit, so please be careful not to accidentally try to take them off. My only real complaint is the mask. I was seriously thinking that it was a full hooded mask, as the picture "seems" to show, but it's not. Overall, this is not a bad costume, just be ready for the surprises I mentioned. If you can, try to also see if you can order the "Scorpion Mask" that is sold separately. Warning = I got an X-Large and it fits perfectly for a person who is 5'6/175 lbs. So with this in mind, that means anyone who is 6 feet tall, you might want to order an XX-Large, and if you are under 5'4, you might want to order a Large. Ideally, this was meant for a fairly slender person. Please keep this in mind when you order this.

I used parts of this to make my son’s costume for Halloween. It worked well. Note, I bought long black underwear too and bottom then cut the top part of this outfit to go over it and then got black stretchy shoe string and sewed ties onto the arms that would hold. Same for the legs. (The pads for the protective gear part) and got him a separate Kunai and rope to tie around him. It looked amazing!

THIS COSTUME IS TERRIBLE AND USED! Cheap and flimsy, the arm, leg & shoulder pieces are a mess. Thin wrinkled foam, some parts came ripped. The straps to attach everything are thin elastic bands with a small Velcro attachments on the end, but they’re too long and don’t stay in place. The neck piece is attached to some cheap material, similar to the black bottom stapled to a couch with more cheap Velcro. I believe it’s supposed to be a bodysuit, but it’s clearly been cut. The mask has makeup in it and missing a strap. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The fit looked as it was too big, but when I tried it, it fit just right. The front panel was wrinkled but I think a good steaming would've fixed that. I think all in all it was a good costume, for the price it was really good. It did not have any kind of scent which was good. Material is good quality too. I think the velcro to arm and leg pieces could be tighter, but all in all, a great costume that i accessorize with horns.

Didn’t fit and was not good quality

It is a costume in a bag, and for the price the quality is to be expected. The pieces are very thin and flimsy, I would recommend taking it out a few days in advance to mold the pieces a bit better. It is definitely not of super quality and we had to do some customizations but it looked super cool.

My son loved this costume. It fit perfect for his 5' 6" frame. 145 lbs with room to spare. Mask was a bit bent but we smoothed it out with a hair dryer. He wore a hoodie and slim fit pants for comfort under the costume as it's thin and polyester material is not comfortable. I made the weapons

Fits well - Looks great - fast delivery - no problems at all with it... I would suggest to anyone buying this to also purchase a balaclava as the mask only covers your face but nonetheless great product

I got 2 of the same costume and one came ripped. both masks have a different material, one seems better and lighter then the other.
