Functionally speaking, this is pretty easy to use...unscrew the tiny applicator and measure it in your palm before applying. However, it is the same consistency as water so be careful or it will all end up on your shower floor.Also, keep your head tilted back the entire time it's in your hair because if it drips in your eye as it sits for 8 seconds or runs over your eye during the rinse, (and the label absolutely warns of this) it will sting, burn and cause redness for an alarmingly long time. Now, as a positive, it works well. It made my sun damaged, wind damaged, hard water damaged hair more soft and less tangled. That being the case, I will buy it again.

It has the consistency of water so just be careful not to let it run down your face or eyes or spill over your hands!The directions states to apply it for only 8 SECONDS which I think is a total waste of the product. I let it sit for at least 5 minutes on the lengths and a little on my scalp, nothing longer than that, and it makes a huge difference. My hair is very soft and easy to brush through after my shower.

This stuff works great! Seriously. I separate my hair into 4 sections, squeeze it on from mid-length to ends, rub it in for 8 seconds and then rinse out. It acts as a conditioner so you can skip that step. As long as you follow the directions, it does not leave your hair oily or weird.
