Do it Best Chrome Plated Brass Toilet Seat Hinge - 1 Each

This is a very well-fitting, sturdy hinge! But I had to completely rethink the screws that were included.I have one of those seats that has shells in it, a thinner lucite type. Finding shorter screws was no issue, but the machines hole on the hinge was too big and the screw heads pulled right through! To fix this I also purchased tiny little locking washers that would fit in that huge hole (which is machined at angle for some reason). Now the screw heads are nearly flush with the surface of the hinge.I recommend taking the hinge to the hardware store and buying new hardware.Other than that, it’s a better fit than the original one and I love it!

I wish the screws were stainless, and they included a paper template for drilling, but the price was amazing, it really feels rock solid, and it made my new bidet fit into the neighborhood. In my case the old holes needed to be filled.

Not real sturdy, nuts come loose easily.

This hinge was an exact replacement for the broken existing hinge so replacement took only a couple of minutes. The quality, chrome plated brass, was excellent and I expect to get the same life out of this part (many years) that I did out of the original.
