My wife is a drummer and wanted a small steel that she could fit next to her for a couple songs in our band. The sound is really good and she loves that it is purple. It goes with the psychedelic appearance of our set.The only criticism is the way it's held to the stand with cheap plastic ties. In our case, it isn't really important we fashioned a more appropriate stand for her needs, but I cant see those plastic things lasting very long for someone who uses it as it comes.Overall we're very happy with it

This item shipped fast and is thoughtfully packaged to protect the drum during transport. It is very well constructed of quality materials and comes with everything you need to build your confidence to play the steel drum, learn, and enjoy your learning experience. I love that the songs provided teach you to play by letter. Within a few days, with practice you are able to play a few recognizable, popular songs. It would be so helpful if Panyard created a full video for all play by letter songs. This will be helpful for tunes you are not familiar with so you can know what the song SHOULD sound like when you play. Plus this will boast the competency skills of visual learners. I really enjoy having my own table top steel drum and enjoying this rich Trinidadian cultual experience at home. Thanks.
