Terrible material.
I rarely give a one star rating and hesitated here but there is a serious safety issue with these foot pegs. I have used these for several months now and for several rides mounting up to a few thousand miles and all had been well until the trip I am currently on. While resting my left foot on the peg at highway speed the peg suddenly loosened and began to spin. I pulled in at the next available pull out to tighten rotation tension bolt only to find the end of the peg had broken and the bolt was only mashing the rubber inserts together. When I got to the next city with a decent population I found a Harley/Kawasaki/Suzuki shop and purchased some Kuryakan pegs to attach to the brackets that came with these pegs. They were a tight fit so I needed to spread the for just a touch. With VERY VERY little effort the retaining fork on the mounting bracket snapped off. Upon inspection the steel these are made of is very poor quality. Looked like cheap cast iron they used to make toys out of. Riders can put a lot of pressure on highway pegs on long trips and especially if they are a bigger person so pegs should be made of high quality materials. I ordered these for a trip and the Kuryakan were not going to get here in time. If I had known what these were made of I would have just done without instead of taking a risk. Don't let the heavy look and feel of these pegs fool you they are made of garbage.

Works for those on a budget
I ordered a second pair of these in March 2017 after having ordered a pair in February 2016. First off, these are NOT Kuryakyn. Don't expect Kuryakyn quality, craftsmanship, or durability for sub$50 dually pegs. That would be like buying slacks and a jacket from Wal Mart and then getting mad at the "suit" because it doesn't look or feel like Armani, and a pocket has a hole in it off the rack. In all fairness concerning MY experience with these, they are fine for anyone who wants something solid to rest their feet on with their legs stretched out but is on a tighter budget. Mine did start to show signs of rust after about 8 months but CLR and a plastic bristle brush takes care of that. My rubber inserts are still like new after about 7,000 miles. Since they did well for me I got another pair from this seller for my second bike. Remember, these are cast metal, and at this price, it is simply not going to perform like titanium. If it is stretched outward or pinched inward, expect it to snap (so if the peg end won't fit into the stay, either file it down, add a washer, or just SEND IT BACK, get a refund, and hold out for a higher quality product). I advise to be careful not to overtighten and break or strip the bolts and screws; they need to be tight, but know when enough is enough, as with any brand. I would use the stock floorboards or pegs if I needed to stand up over a bump or something, but again, these are not made for that. These are still serving me well after a year so I decided to share my own experience with everyone. I hope this review is helpful. Ride safe and may God bless us all.

With a little modification
Put on bike, only one way to install the pegs. Kinda hard to describe but I'll try. The peg isn't fixed to the part that it's attached to, pressure will spin the peg. So, the part you rest your foot on will spin up or down depending on how you are resting. Also, when kicked up not using it, it will not stay up. I had to add rubber spacers to close the gap so when I put them in the up position it'll stay. Other then that, they're good. Just note you'll have to modify a bit.

The clamps and the footpegs are very nice and well made
The clamps and the footpegs are very nice and well made. The clevises on the other hand were very poor. They did not want to thread the screw in very well, after getting them in with a wrench I loosened them up a bit to adjust the position of the pegs. One of the bolts on the clevis would not move and I had to put 2 wrenches on it to get it loose. After a good deal of fighting with it I finally got the bolt out and found about 3 turns of the threads on the bolt and clevis were flattened and non existent. Replaced with a new set of clevis and had no other problems. Better machined clevises would rate a higher score.

Look great
Had them on my crash bars for around a year and one broke clean off just cruising home one evening. Really like the style. Hope it was just a one time thing.

That's a shame because I really like the look of them
I have a 1.25 inch OD engine guard, and these don't even come close to fitting. That's a shame because I really like the look of them, and they seem to be really solidly constructed. Unless your tubing is 1" - don't buy these highway pegs.

Look great
Got them today and am hour later they were on the bike. Some type of instructions would have been nice but not anything I couldn't figure out in a few minutes.
