Just received my replacement battery for a Dell Latitude. The replacement came with screwdrivers to remove the laptop case and a plastic wedge tool to help open the case if needed.Battery provided was the exact size as the oem, and was easy to install after removing the original. The laptop powered right up without the power adapter - just the battery, as they suggested it should be done. Showed up with 68% charge on the battery. The instructions were helpful, showing how to manage the charge by letting it drop to 5%, then charge to 95%, etc. for the first few cycles.For the last two hours two I've been running updates, scans and other power intensive tasks. Battery status shows the battery draining very, very slowly. I'm only a couple hours in, and am happy with the purchase. Hopeful this will last several years. Looks like it has a one year warranty. Great price compared to oem!

I hooked up this battery to my Dell G3. The old one was done. This immediately charged to 100%. It is 100% compatible and works flawlessly. I highly recommend this battery. A very simple job to install.

My Dell Inspiron 7577's OEM battery life had dwindled to something like 15 minutes after 3 years. Dell's price is well over $100 and I'm relatively handy with computers so I didn't have a problem buying an aftermarket part, especially as other ratings on this particular item were pretty good. I downloaded the repair manual for my laptop, and as soon as this battery got here, went to replace it. Taking the back off a 7577 is easy. Removing the screws that hold the battery in place is easy. Removing the CONNECTOR from the old battery (to be able to connect it to the new one) is nerve-wracking - seriously, those are the thinnest, most FRAGILE wires and connectors I've seen. If you do this, DO NOT PULL ON EITHER CONNECTOR (the end that fits on the computer as well as the one that fits on the battery). I used the point of a HAND SEWING NEEDLE to gently pry both ends of the battery cable free - very slowly, a nudge on one side and then again on the other, until it was far enough off the pins to be able to lift it off the rest of the way (GENTLY!!). Putting it back on the new battery was the reverse - fitting it gently onto the pins and then pushing one side, then the other with the eye of the needle. I had to take off BOTH ends of the cable - the computer connector and the battery because the wires are SO thin, I did not want to flip the cable over (the connector is on the side facing down, of course, so you have to flip it if you don't remove the computer end first). I was seriously afraid I'd snap the wires if I did flip it over. Once both connectors were in place, screws back in and the laptop's back put back on, the system booted without incident. The battery did not have a full charge, and once I charged it I ran the laptop till shutdown three or four times, to condition it. It currently holds a charge a little over 2 hours (not much different from the original OEM battery), which I'm pleased with. By the way, the screwdrivers this ships with? Don't need 'em for this purpose (a small Phillips head is fine), and they're pretty cheap/chintzy anyway. The battery seems to do what it's supposed to, and I'm happy with that. Vendor shipped it quickly and followed up with a warranty email.

I have bought this to replace the battery of my Dell G7 with processor from 8th generation (meaning it's a 4 years old laptop) and it works great, has enough autonomy. The only thing I can say against it (and I'm not sure it is because of the battery) is that I keep getting the bios message when I turn on my computer

I was a little hesitant about fixing our laptop. It would not stay on without being plugged in and some of the keys no longer worked. After looking into buying a new laptop I was shocked to see the prices. So I thought “I can’t break it any worse than it is now”. I ordered this battery (replacement keyboard as well). The battery on this model of laptop was almost too simple to swap out. The keyboard is a different story. Bottom line, if your laptop is no longer a portable device and needs to be plugged in all the time, I would recommend replacing the battery.The new battery takes a charge quickly and lasts a little over 5 hours even with running ultra hd 4k ips display with medium backlighting and highest resolution. Seems on par to when the laptop was new.

worked great for two days. now when i use MY LAPTOP IT SHOWS THW BATTERY AT 100% CHARGE , after about 5 to `0 minutes of use ir shuts down I have to plug in the power cord to use it..... NOT RIGHT....

I bought this after my original laptop battery had started to explode and bow out the bottom of the plastic. This battery works great after a month still and it was very easy to put in.
