They're really 100 percent cotton! I base this mainly off of my sweaty stinky prior experience with 80/20 cotton/poly socks... But what really matters is I've worn these several days in a row (yes, same pair) without them getting stinky or uncomfortable. They washed fine, I line dry everything.I wear a size 8.5 women's.I love the muted solid colors.I'm extremely picky about socks, and so far I really like these.

I never thought I'd write a review for socks but these are light, comfortable, hold their shape, aren't too thick for my shoes/boots and they just plain please me. I actually look forward to putting them on as they feel really good on my feet which are kept warm but not hot and chafe free. Buy them you will LOVE them.

For me these were way too thin, too tight (shoe size Womens U. S. 8 1/2) and they will NOT stay up with when wearing running shoes. After only a few steps they are under your heel in your shoes. I am guessing they are cotton since I didn't itch while wearing them inside out. The thread used in the stitching was itchy around the top of the sock. If they weren't so tight they would be ok for a light weight "around the house" sock.

I love that the socks don't slip off my heels when I walk. The colors are nice, the order came quickly and were presented well in a nice box. Could make a great gift.

The material cotton/spandex is nearly impossible to find in a store. This fabric combo will keep your feet cozy, but not sweaty. I wear size 9 women’s USA and they fit perfect- slightly but not too tight at the ankle. These are snug fitting and the foot slides just fine into shoes (not thick and bulky, but just right).

I wanted to love these, unfortunately I couldn't. I need 100% cotton and these were as close as I could find. They fit well and the colors didn't fade in the wash and they stayed true to size. They also didn't fall down at the heal. That's the good. They aren't soft, they are a bit scratchy. Not quite wool or sandpaper but rough, definitely not soft. They are thin and after wearing for a few times (or long, hard wearing from an extra busy day) they wore holes in them. All of them. Being not all cotton they only slightly irritated my feet but not horrible. I will not be purchasing more.

Too tight around the top band. This is the kind of design that could lead to varicose veins. Otherwise, really comfortable. But I think I’m going to return them. Doesn’t anyone make pure cotton crew socks for women? Crew socks never pinch in around the top. Nice colors, though.UPDATE REVIEW: I waited too long after I purchased these to properly investigate potential damage to legs due to socks that are too tight. I am slender and in good shape, but I tried one of these from either set of different colors, and they leave a good size indented ring around my leg above the ankle. I wondered if this could cause permanent damage, and so I didn’t wear them anymore until I had a chance to do some research. I just researched and the answer is that we should not wear socks that are so tight that they leave an indented ring around your leg, because that can literally hamper your circulation and cause permanent damage. I’m not willing to take the chance, so I’m tossing them. It’s past my time to return them, but at least I can warn you. Beware...

These do not slide down like the low cut version sold by the same company but they are still too thin and too tight. (shoe size womens U.S. 8 1/2). These socks are about as thick as a dress sock so no cushion what so ever. If you are looking for a very light weight sock that won't slide down into your shoes and that does seem to be cotton, then these may work for you.

Very soft, comfy, fits well and warm too. Definitely happy with the purchase. Love the colours too.
