Q: What is the sliding thing on the top part? Lol pls lmk thanks

The lid locks so it supposedly won't leak but both of mine leaked when locked. It is nice though to keep the mouthpiece covered from dirt

Q: Are there replacement parts for the straw and the piece in the lid connected to the straw?

It's frustrating, I had the same problem with the Zulu water cups... they do no sell replacement rubber part of the top... I contacted the mfg directly by their customer service website and told them my issue and they sent me just an entire new screw on top in the color I needed... You can try that. The straws you can usually find on Amazon they are interchangeable, but they may send you the straw too.

Q: I just got the Cashmere pink bottle and the rubber part is dark purple color instead of light pink anyone else?

Yes. We have two pink bottles. The one we got from Target was matchy-matchy, but the one from Amazon was a deep pink-purple.
