Anthony's Allulose Sweetener, 1 lb, Batch Tested Gluten Free, Keto Friendly Sugar Alternative, Zero Net Carb, Low Calorie

I am on a keto healthy living food program . Thanks to a Libre 3 plus CGM I found out that unknown to me I was having really low blood sugar early AM , beside higher BS . . This allulose is a blessing for me ! It seems to help keep my blood sugar regulated . It taste good . The texture is way better than the RX I bought first . I'm not bashing RX , I prefere the texture like table sugar . Anthony's is the best texture and taste for me . I'm going to try to caramelize some . Yes it cost . But I believe it's cheap when it can help with preventing complications of diabetes. It's supposed to brown quickly in baked goods so I will see about covering loosely with foil . I started with 1/2 teas and increased to make sure I didn't have problems . I didn't have any ! It's not as sweet as sugar . They say to use 1 and 1/3 cup instead of 1 cup in recipes depending on preference, it's 70% as sweet as sugar. I really like it ! I am fixing to buy the 2 pound so that I don't run out . I use it in cocoa , but nothing in coffee or tea . With everything I do my blood sugar staying perfect over 90% of the time , the allulose really helps a lot ! I don't eat table sugar . I will make bread for dressing with this for Thanksgiving. Maybe with corn flavoring for cornbread ! I ran out and had some refried black beans with Mozzarella. It made me fall asleep. I'm exhausted. Now for something with allulose so that I feel better . This allulose really keeps my BS on a straight path . I don't care that it isn't super sweet .it cost more than I like but my health is worth it and I don't take meds ! You can use a little before a meal and it will keep your BS from going wacko , worth every penny . I don't use a lot even . I like this brand . You can put a small amount in baked goods . I put it in Victoria's single serve and bake it instead of using the microwave . Perfectly browned and cooked !

Anthony's products are always great quality and the allouse is a perfect sugar replacement for every day use. I bake with it and just made jam using Allulose, frozen berries, lemon juice and cornstarch that tasted great on toast and no insulin spikes. Thankful to have this product.

Product tastes good (meaning there is no bitterness or weird aftertaste). It’s finely ground allulose so it dissolves well. Some say it’s 70% as sweet as sugar, I would say it’s closer to 50-60%. If you’re looking for pure allulose and not something mixed that may provide a more pronounced sweetness, this is a product to purchase.

It's expensive if you are trying to make something very sweet because it's only about 60-70% as sweet as sugar and cost more per ounce. That being said if you just like things lightly sweetened or are trying to cut back on regular sugar a little this tastes better than any of the other sugar substitutes I've tried. It tastes exactly like a less sweet sugar, if that makes sense. The best way I can describe it is how like when you eat something REALLY sweet and then your taste buds can't detect sweetness as well for a little bit. There are no weird after tastes, bitterness, or chemical tasted like some sugar substitutes either. My husband only takes one spoon of sugar in black coffee and started substituting this and now he thinks normal sugar is too sweet for coffee.

I gave this product 5 stars because it certainly stood up to the description listed at a reasonable price and delivered on time.

Taste great, no weird after taste like others sweeteners I have tried, you do however need to use more that regular sugar for the same sweetness but since I am cutting back on sugar, that is not an issue. I am a diabetic and this does not spike my sugar (I always accompany protein with anything "sweet") - please don't come for me, this is not medical Advice!

I have ordered Anthony's Allulose several times and I know very well what it looks and tastes like. This last 2 lb bag is very fine like powdered sugar and sweeter than my other bags. It's so different in texture from my other allulose (which was granular like table sugar) that I'm really worried that it may actually not be allulose. I trust Anthony's and buy other products from them, but I'm really concerned about this last order.
