Great Pencil
I adore this pencil. It's weighty and solid enough to use for long bouts of writing, but small enough to keep in a pocket notebook or any pen loop. I love the option of erasing, which is missing in many similar small pencil styles. My only compliant is how hard it is to find replacement erasers. I've purchased this twice because I like it so much (I lost the first one).

Great little pencil
Fits in a ring binder so I don't have to look all over to find it.

Great little pen
Got this to pair with fields note book, got the pencil too. Good size to keep in pocket. I was worried about how much ink there was in it so got the pack of replacement cartridges too but it hasn’t really been an issue. Writes quite well and smooth ink flow

Decent for EDC and conveniently but usably small
I really like this little pencil. I keep one in my motorcycle jacket and one in my camping gear. It's decent for EDC as well. Do I need a "tactical" pen that I can drive through a cement block, because that's apparently a thing that people think they need? Nope. I need something I can jot notes with. This works for the latter. It takes standard mechanical pencil refills and it's even got an eraser. It does what it says on the tin. It's metal and small enough for daily carry without being obnoxiously small.

Nice compact mechanical pencil.
Packs light and writes well. The leads are slightly more durable than your average 0.5mm ones. Definitely worth the purchase price if want something small and light for travel or everyday use.

This is a very nice solution for someone who needs a small, slim mechanical pencil
This is a very nice solution for someone who needs a small, slim mechanical pencil: to go in an appointment book for example. It's not as easy to use as a full-size pencil, but if the size difference is important to you, go for it. It will solve you problem, but you won't use it over a full-size pencil if you have a choice.

Pilot Mini Mechanical Pencil Birdy, 0.5mm,
The mechanical pencil is similar in size to the ballpoint pen. These are small but yet still very functional. Both the mechanical pencil and ballpoint pen would be grand for a notebook or checkbook or wallet style calendar items.the quality is what one would expect from a Pilot brand writing instrument, that is top shelf.I am very pleased with this purchase.

Poor quality
Few weeks after purchase, it broke. The spring inside popped out when I was using it. This is of the worse quality I've ever had in a mechanical pencil. Very disappointed at both the quality, and the seller response.
